Math: 89.99 - 10 Instant savings - $15 off 40 coupon - 12% customer apprication - 50 easy rebate = ~$7+ tax (maybe even tack on ink coupons for less than free, lol).
Just got it too, thx go to sleckdeals...
For coupons search here or at sleck forums.. (YMMV on coupon, since some are considering them fraudulent, mines were accepted without question here in the East Coast, Boston).
OOS online, still available In-Store. Call First before wasting gas!

Totally agreed. Not worth to risk being put in jail because of stinking $15.

Not worth to risk being put in jail because of stinking $15. Now that would be something...going to jail for a $15 coupon. Oh yea, i am sure you will make the nightly news...
If they do put people in jail for a $15 coupon, i'd surely like to know about it.

anyone know how to tell what the limit is on the rebates? Can we buy like two and get rebates for both (for the same person and address)?

You just repeated what I stated. Also, you are wrong on the last part - if you have the legit version, the stacking would be LESS ymmv, not more.

I think those people selling coups on eBay would have become 'someone's wife' long ago if the laws are very clear on this. The fact is, it is not, and those guys generating coups are making tons, and Staples can't do a thing about it. So this $15 enforcement is going nowhere. The only thing they can do is deny the usage.

How can I get the $15 off $40 coupon and the 12% appreciation discount? Please help and thanks in advance!

Also, I didnt know you were implying that the fraudulent version was the YMMV; I read it as the 15/40 coupon was fraudulent according to you
This weekend I was able to use both the 12% and the color 15/40, but its the first time I've ever been able to stack them. I suppose you could label the 12% as a discount that way they couldnt shoot it down under the "mat not be combined with any other coupon" clause/

Visit FW more often... you'll stay in the know.
But how is he supposed to get into the know with a response like that? Help a brother out and let him in. How about explaining some of the acronyms to him also, like FAR= Free After Rebate. I though YMMV meant Your Mileage May Vary.

You lucky!!! I went to 3 Staples and they all deny my 15 off 40 which I used 4 times last week. I think I will buy it with the 12% discount. It will be aroung 20 bucks, that's 20 cents a Gig. Still not bad, but not as good as your deal.

I edited the post and put in the coupon links (i think thats allowed at FW, right? Anand doesn't let you do it..).

What region are you from? The coupons are are being accepted in the East coast, afaik. Also, did you print them out in Color?
Many of the 100GB drives that I saw are in fact 120GB (they have a big round sticker that says 20GB bonus). Those have the same UPC as the 100GB and are fully eligible for the rebate (and it does print out). I think $20 for a 120GB drive is a hot deal in itself without having to resort to fraudulent coupons. Staples is one of the few remaining big retailers that deserve our patronage.

Shot down on the $15 coupon at 2 different locations.
I passed because I'm sure a new coupon will be floating around soon.
This is too YMMV.

I'm from the East Coast also, North New Jersey. They rejected me at Route 17 and both Route 4 locations. It was fun while it lasted. Which stores worked for you? And No, I did not print it in color. If in color, do you use special paper? It just seems like would be going out of my way to create a known fraudulent coupon.
Had seen a posting of 10 off 30 coupon in a different thread. Can't that be applied too? The address beside it can be removed as it is not on the coupon.
Thanks for the heads up. The $10 "instant rebate" didn't come up automatically at the store but I had a print out from the website so they matched it. I happened to have a $15 off $75 OD coupon, plus the 12%, so I ended up at about $12 AR.

people who opened them: are all the non-marked 100GB ones actually 120GB?
Hmm, looks like its OOS online. Guess "normal" people saw it as a very hot deal at 29.99 online. There are plenty in-store, saw them today when i went to get coupons for ink cartridges. Better to call first probably.

Better to call first probably.Online could have been much better than 29.99. Purchase two. Use a 30/150 coupon. Comes out to $15 or so each plus cost of coupon less the related cashbacks (fw, staplesrewards, discovercard).

With so many deals from last week and this week, I am in freakin rebate hell.

C'mon Crows, read: 4x 120, not 4x 100.

I can't believe I'm still using that 15 off coupon. Was working last week, not working over weekend and I just used 3 times pass two days. Thought it was dead. You paid $6.26 to be exact AR. I paid $9.26 in NJ. Hey!! I'm not going to blow the deal by stacking and making a commotion. Did you go in and out 4 times to get those HDs?? Mine was a 120 Gig drive. It had a sticker on the bottom left corner.
I'm also in Rebate HELL!!

Staples rebates isn't bad at all...so its not really hell. Now, i was in hell today after doing two onrebates (cut out the upc, make copies, print multiple forms), a labtec, and a Circuit City. They ALL require cutting of the upc, making copies and crap. Staples rulez when it comes to rebates...there they are like.no.other (haha, sue me Sony).
Just got the last 100+bonus20GB drive from my local Staples. I know which CSR's allow stacking coupons so I was able to use the $15 off $40 and the 12% off Customer Appreciation coupons for an out the door after rebate price of $11.61. Gotta love those Staples Easy Rebates. 10 cents/GB is not too shabby! Thanks O.P.
