Can you please be more specific on the coupon? I am looking at the weekly 8/20 - 8/26 flyer, I do not see coupon, or is it on the shelves?

There is another smaller flyer,with-in the larger flyer,it is nothing but coupons.
It has Superman on it.It states"save over $370,coupon savings over 110 offers!,clip and save 8/13-8/26"

@ hiphiphooray

Only find a 6.5 coupon for Yuban coffee, is that what u guys taking about?

OP, why would this be a YMMV deal? It is on sale for 5.99 and the cpn is for 6.00 so negative one cent. The only YMMV part is whether you can purchase more than one as the cpn states one per customer.

One of my stores allowed me to buy two without any question. I stopped at a second store and also was planning ot purchase two cans. However, I then noticed at the register they had a sign saying one coupon allowed per person per week for the coffee although the coupon makes no mention of per week!

Just wanted to ask if there was some other aspect that would be YMMV that I should know about if I go back. I also did make sure to buy some other FAR items on my order such as the FAR razors, refills and permanent markers.

Yes - the coupons show (in the case of the coffee in this example) you save $6.00 off the REGULAR RETAIL. Since it is on sale and you find a cashier that wants to be a pain about it - YMMV. Of course one of my local Rite Aid's did deny it for that reason - the 2nd one let it go right through - limit 1 per customer but you can leave and go in again to get more.....good luck everyone - not as bad as a lot of deals - but YMMV.

I saw a sign yesterday at my closest RA saying that the AD was incorrect and MH was not on sale this week and that the final price is $4.99 after $6 coupon. BS??

Just picked up 2 cans for myself and 2 cans for my parents this morning at a RA near work. Price scanned at $5.99 and $6 coupon scanned without issue. I also bought a couple of other items in each order.

May end up donating the coffee to a soup kitchen since I don't really need it and my parents usually drink decaf.

Great deal OP! Thanks a bunch!

Combine with this http://www.fatwallet.com/t/18/645032 so as not to raise the cashier's suspicion and to make the trip to R.A. worth your effort.

I cleaned out the last 4 today, got a raincheck for 4 more; truck arrives on Friday. The manager even made sure I knew about the coupon, as though I would ever pay full price for anything.

Not only would they not let me use it, they took the coupon away from me. Mean people.

I was told I could not use the coupon since the coffee is on sale. I should have asked them to ring it up at regular price just to see if they would. What is regular price on this anyone know?

I heard the same thing. The person said a memo went out and to refer to the fact that the coupon says "Regular" price.

Regular Retail is $10.99 (what a joke) less $6.00 coupon is $4.99 out the door with the coupon - or $5.99 on sale without the coupon (or -.01 if you are lucky with the coupon YMMV). I was able to buy 4 cans at the 2nd Rite Aid I visited - the first one said no way......

I bought two cans last night for 34 cents. I left four cans on the shelf for the cashiers who ran to get this deal.

actually, can the OP put RA in the title?

I went to the store, found box with the coupon books, that was too easy.
Then got shot down by cashier saying: you want to use the coupon, I have to ring the coffee at regular price.

Will try another store another time.

Got one today. At first the cashier said no way but asked the manager. But the manager gave a go a head.

FROM THE COFFEE GRINDER......Looks like RiteAid might be buying the Eckerd/Brooks Chain of drug stores to better compete with CVS and Walgreen's.

RITE AID TO POSSIBLY BUY ECKERD'S/BROOKS

Cool. There's an Eckerd right up the street from my local (small) Rite Aid. Either I'll get a bigger RA or possibly a Walgreen's out of the deal. There are several other Eckerd's nearby so maybe more RA's or Walgreen's. The closest Walgreen's is about 15 miles in a direction that I rarely ever go.

Thats gonna be horrible if it does happen. In PA, there are Rite Aids (old and horrible shape) next to Eckerds (stores even in worse shape than the Rite Aids). Theres gonna be so many stores closed down around here.

GOT shot down twice in NYC. They mgr said they only honor it if you are paying full price. ANyway, the expiration date for the coffee is mid Sept and Mid Dec.

Thanks OP - Green, green for free coffee!

Done deal- next year, Eckerd=Rite-Aid (sure to close a bunch of stores along the way)
