Surely, this must come with an SD adapter, but there is no mention of one in the Outpost listing.
Pretty good price, but not if I don't have the flexibility of using it in SD devices.

I love miniSD, but I've promised myself I won't buy anymore until 4gb comes around.
Thanks OP. had tried to buy the 512 at outpost and now its back ordered...can't really send in a rebate when you don't have the product!!!

Back in stock and yes it comes with an adapter. But think before buying it cause thr rebate posted on the outpost page is no good. It is copmletely different from the rebate form of the rebate center and UPC is different as well.

what are you talking about? can you show us why you are saying this?I don't have a clue about what this person is talking about (and apparently neither do they). I'm looking at the rebate form now and it doesn't even mention a specific UPC number. The fulfillment company's website is not familiar to me, although the Tempe. AZ mailing address is in the same city as one of the unusal suspects that do rebate fulfillment (maybe GFC?). I received my card yesterday. Unfortunately, it turns out that I needed a MicroSD, instead of a mini. Oh, well. I'm sure I'll end up using it someplace. It does come with an adapter, BTW.
I'm impressed. I ordered this Tuesday afternoon. It arrived this morning. Works fine in my Cingular 2125.

Oh, I am going to give you a clue, orangespot. The product I received is the product advertised on the web pade. The rebate form on the web page is not for the product advertised. Both products on the rebate form and on the web page sound very similar but are not the same products. Surely I will let you find it out on your own without posting UPC numbers for the products and even give you a clue on how to do it. Call the rebate center using the number from the rebate form and ask them the UPC code you should be sending with your rebate submission. Than compare it to the one you have and maybe you will get what I am takling about. As for the all other FWers - DO NOT BUY IT unless full price is OK for you as the rebate purposly contains mistakes in order to disqualify you from rebate. Only buy it if you do like me. I calkl several times to rebate center, take names and time of the call and than submit it to BBB and FTC. those two will teach the company to respect customer's rights. Good luck.
thanks andrey for trying to clear it up, but you only succeeded in confusing us more.
You see, the rebate which is linked in the OP doesn't state any UPC number or code. It only states the name of the item which is EXACTLY the item ordered. I don't care if the queen of england tells me a certain UPC code is required, the only requirements I have to meet are the ones ON THE REBATE FORM (linked above). The requirements describe the purchased item as A-DATA Speedy miniSD 1GB, which is EXACTLY what I purchased.
I'm sorry you are having trouble with your rebate, but I don't see how they can require any particular UPC code on the phone but never mention it on the rebate form.
