kobee08 said:Buy a Soltek board if you want a nightmare. Company is a joke. You've obviously never owned the 54U5. Pfft! Seriously tho, it looks interesting, to say the least. onboard spdif i/o and 3 pcie 1x is nice, but WTF am I gonna do with 3 pcie 1x? I can't find a use for my one

I have an older Soltek K8Tpro-939 in a second system , that has run perfect from day one (and overclocked) . Most peeps report excellant results from Soltek's .
soltek is out of the mobo bidness but still has download support for bios and driver files available. soltek made great feature rich products at very competitive prices. their athlon 75frn2 golden flame was considered a masterpiece.

I love their SFF PCs very much. Best in execution in some areas while cost cutting in others (case). They may soon be out of bizz totally. Gainward? has switched to making mem modules ... More consolidations coming. On our shores, imagine an Apple-Sun-Goggle company. Intel and MS would be very concern.

Have the same exact board.
Been thinking of upgrading, but never felt a need to since it runs fine.
If you got one of Tiger Direct's $19.00 A64-754's this is a good board although I don't care much for the Via 890 chipset. I have had the 939 Pro and it is a very good board. The only problem was Via didn't get Cool and Quiet right so it needed a bios flash.
