Infinity Primus 250 Speaker $69.77 (+ tax AR) @ CC Archived From: Hot Deals

Just bought a couple Infinity Primus 250 speakers. They are $129.77 at CircuitCity.com with a $30 MIR. I ordered mine for in-store pickup and the customer service lady informed me that they were $30 cheaper in store.

So my final price is $129.77 - $30 (in store PM when picking up) - $30 MIR = $69.77.

If you look up the promotion PW0VN under Circuit City rebates it states limit one rebate, so unless you have two addresses, this might be more difficult.

eb50, they are priced each.

When the store adjusts the price to match a better in-store price - it becomes an in-store purchase. Then the rebate won't fly. Then again, look at it this way - you got the AR price without the rebate.

Also keep in mind that if you do order on-line, you have to do the 2-address polka (a term normally reserved for Polks ) You need to order them individually and submit individually. It's workable... to keep the address different, my mother (yes, MOTHER) is used to receiving mysterious rebates (LOL).

So I'd give an educated guess that these are going to be $99.77 each one way or the other.

Primus 150 rears, and the matching Primus for my center, C25 I believe. Great set. My home theater area is about 11*14 and the whole room is 22*14, and they fill it up plenty. Oh, and a Infinity PS10 sub.

Last week they were $30AR with the buy a pair one at a time polka trick. This week they are up $10.

You can't hang the 250s on a wall. The 150s and the 250s are pretty much the same anyway. The 250 has an extra woofer, but it's not any bigger, so really, it can just get a little louder than the 150s.

I have mine at 90 degrees, so they are flat against the side walls, one foot behind and three feet higher than the sweet spot.

These Infinity speakers have a brighter, more "crisp" sound than the Polk R series. Both have their merits, but they would not be the best match if you have both in the same system. The Infinity speakers will call attention to themselves due to their brighter treble.
