Wondering how this one compares to Plantronics 510 . I have been using Plantronics for about a week which i got for pretty much the same price and it works really nice for N70. My bro has the same phone and i am wondering if i shouuld go for samsung. The plantronics 510 is slightly bulky but apart from that its really nice. Sound quality is great and pairing / charging are no hassle . |

because if you don't, you can sue them and make a lot of money whereas if u sue someone on eBay, most likely wont happen or win back your money at small claims |

How can you tell if the one you get off of Fleabay is fake? I ordered one and want to know if it is legit or not?

Sometimes, the fakes are really good. I bought a 2GB Memory Stick Pro Duo and I'm sure it was a fake. It worked fine, but I got rid of it because of the psychological trauma of owning a fake. I recently bought two Motorola H700 Bluetooth headsets on eBay, and both were fake, and UTTERLY junk. One wouldn't hold a charge, and the other wouldn't even pair with my Sony Ericsson W800i. I threw them both away, paid out the extra cash for original H700 headsets from Amazon, and have never had a problem with the legitimate Motorolas. |

The one I purchased on eBay has a hologram sticker that says "Samsing Original" instead of "Samsung Original" (the 'i' in the first one is not a typo). That's definitely an obvious sign. Among other things, I noticed the serial number on the box doesn't match the serial number on the device. It also didn't come with a manual nor a quick start guide. But it did come with a detachable ear hook which I don't think the real ones come with (can anyone confirm this?).
If I get a chance maybe I will post pictures of it so everyone can compare my fake to theirs (if anyone is willing to host the pics).

The question is, how does it work with the A9** series of Samsung, specifically with A900? A900 is notorious for its crap BT and the 3 headsets I tried so far were absolute crap, real ones, but full of static. |

I too am interested in how the Plantronics 510 and the Samsung WEP200 compare. Doesn't look like anyone has done a direct comparison. Has anyone tried both of them out?
They are relatively the same price. Everyone likes the sound quality. The Plantronics is larger but most say it's comfortable and has good battery life. Haven't seen much for the WEP200 other than the few reviews on Amazon and CNET. Most say the same things that people say about Plantronics: comfortable, decent battery life (although shorter than Platronics according to the spec), and good sound quality. One person did note that the Samsung headset supports Bluetooth 2.0, which gives slightly faster performance. Some have said that it's difficult to fit the Samsung while others say it fits the best out of their headsets (such as Plantronics 640, Jabra JX10). |

Got mine today. I would say the fit is B+. Sound quality is really really good though. Haven't paid attention to the battery life yet. for $45, its a good buy. But if I have the money, I would go for the JX-10. I tried the Plat 510 too and prefer the Samsung over it. |

I got my fleabay special, its a samsing also....if the phone is more than 1 foot from the headset it does not work. I guess I am in for the Amazon deal. |
