Coupon book is non-discountable item, or some such reason. However, I know from other threads that people have been successful in the past, so never hurts to try.

Places like Amazon usually don't discount mass market paperbacks, because they're only around $7-$8. So with the 30% off coupons Borders provides sometimes (unlike B&N's rare 10% off coupons), even with tax, it'll be a good deal. Plus you can get the book right away, you don't have to try to buy $25 worth to get free shipping, and browsing is always fun.

Yea, but the Entertainment books go for like $30 and up

That's exactly the type of coupon they will claim is fake. Stick with the standard coupons people.

Entertainment Guides are sold at or near cost, like magazines and newspapers. The margin is under 10%.

Has anyone tried using this coupon? I need a coupon for 3 school books. Are there any other coupons available?

YMMV with Entertainment Books. I got one last year with a 25% off coupon, but remember others posting that they got turned down.

Did the cashier scan the barcode and it went through? Usually the other coupons, they would have to enter a code into the system.
