Does anyone know how, if possible, to get optical out with the low end x-fi xtrememusic card?
Thanks
You have to buy the $15 or so "creative digital I/O module" that plugs into the 'multi-plug' port of the x-fi, but yes, you can get optical (and coaxial) SPD/IF input and output from the x-fi that way.

More accurately, you need $2.02 in Creative products as your filler. Don't think there's anything available that fits that bill unless I'm missing something....

Google "Amazon filler". This seems to be the best filler I've been able to find so far. Too bad I can't get the 1.57% off, but still might jump on this deal.
Actually, my bad, I see your point. Yeah, I was wrong. Hm...what to do?

I put an $8 filler in my cart---a Canon ink cartridge. Order total now over $150 with two Audigy 4 cards in the cart. Guess what? NO $25 promo, only the $15. Then I removed the ink cart, and put in the Creative USB soundcard. Total now way above $150, but the $25 and the $15 promos both showed up.
So I'll say it again: Your total must be $150 in CREATIVE products to get the extra $25 promo credit. Unless you guys can show me some other filler that works!
SO you can't swing this deal with two Audigy 4 cards unless you throw in some other Creative junk, which I really didn't feel like doing. I just wanted two Audigy 4s. Oh well...

Actually, nevermind, only $15 off applied.the filler must be qualified Creative products to get both coupons workWhich means that a $10 set of speakers won't work - I just tried. Shoot...
Creative Sound Blaster X-fi Platinum is back in stock, and Audigy4 is OOS

Can we send for both rebates together or do we have to do it seperately? I mean, using one form, can we send both UPCs and one receipt? Or is it safer to send them seperately?
Sychev22 said: If anyone has a copy of the rebate PDF and can host it or can link us to the original, I'd appreciate it and I am sure many more others would, too.
it's right there on the Amazon site. how hard can it be to find it.
