I just put the 2 Sound Blaster Cards in my shopping cart and it says expected shipping date is Nov. 18th. Obviously I won't get the rebates so I'm not placing the order.

I know you said you are buying the low end one so maybe you are aware, but just for the record, if you are ONLY doing optical out, any soundcard with optical out will be just as good. All the processing will be done by your reciever so there's no need for a fancy card.

actually i think i did read somewhere that there are 1 or 2 games with some creative-specfic sound effects...

Newchen where are the details of this offer. Do we just have to use our Amazon visa. I used it for this deal but I did not see that offer.
