Most people haven't had probs with creative rebates, but I did. And being as they handle their rebates in-house and don't outsource it like most do, they don't allow resubmissions if there's a problem (again, at least in my case they didn't) so, basically they screwed me and I'll never buy another Creative product again. That, and I hear their X-Fi has issues to boot.
chillaxtodamax said: hmm I've never done Creative rebate... are they really that bad? I haven't heard many people say they were bad I suppose if you don't have a PROBLEM, you're fine. The minute something goes wrong and you have to deal with their a-h0le CSR's (and even supervisors) then you'll find out the hard way, that, you're screwed. I'll never make that mistake again, but to each their own.

Actually, I thought that it was the Platinum card that had the issues??? Does anyone have a link to site with reviews of these cards? Really want to take advantage but now not sure which card to jump on.

I personally have used the XFi Music card for almost a year now , with NO complaints what so ever . Was a nice improvement over my ZS card , and drivers are xint and rock solid even in Windows x64 .
