hmm I guess this isn't hot? basically a free Webcam (worth at least $20) on the Bay

Creative rebate =

Most people haven't had probs with creative rebates, but I did. And being as they handle their rebates in-house and don't outsource it like most do, they don't allow resubmissions if there's a problem (again, at least in my case they didn't) so, basically they screwed me and I'll never buy another Creative product again. That, and I hear their X-Fi has issues to boot.

hmm I've never done Creative rebate... are they really that bad? I haven't heard many people say they were bad

n/m

why not buy two x-fi extrememusic to make $58 per each ?

Because you could sell the webcam, make 20 bucks there to make the X-Fi around 43 bucks.

Creative rebates are OK. Good deal.

I suppose if you don't have a PROBLEM, you're fine. The minute something goes wrong and you have to deal with their a-h0le CSR's (and even supervisors) then you'll find out the hard way, that, you're screwed. I'll never make that mistake again, but to each their own.

ah ok thanks.

$63 with a webcam for this??? I couldn't resist... Even with the potential driver installation issues I just read about at review sites. Green up.

Only 5 left!!

The soundcard is back in stock. Here is the rebate link for those that need it:

Rebate

Thanks! I was searching for the rebate while it was out of stock.

Actually, I thought that it was the Platinum card that had the issues???
Does anyone have a link to site with reviews of these cards? Really want to take advantage but now not sure which card to jump on.

XFi Music reviews :

Techreport

Extrememhz
Newegg

I personally have used the XFi Music card for almost a year now , with NO complaints what so ever . Was a nice improvement over my ZS card , and drivers are xint and rock solid even in Windows x64 .

Just got the xtrememusic, I will see how much better my new surround will be vs onboard crap. Hopefully it will work with my board and game nicely.
