Think of the hide button as your "personal" delete button.Just wanted to say thanks for implementing this! I am very excited and surprised to see this is actually available now!
Well, I'm not sure if you implemented it in response to my suggestion, or if it was just a happy coincidence. But I'll just go ahead and think you guys did it just for me, haha. So, thanks! You can say the exact same thing and nobody listens, but then the big guy has this "terrific idea"... says the same thing you did and bang! Kind of reminds me of that FedEx commercial... |

"Normal" is the same as "All Topics" except it hides your "Not Interested" topics. While in "All Topics" and viewing the "RED" not interested icon you can click it to reverse your decision. |

"so did my comments regarding the new rating system actually open up chief's eyes?" You, and several hundred of your dear friends here on Fatwallet might have had something to do with it.
"does this whole, speaking out about your beliefs really work?" Don't get any funny ideas.
"if i would have got off my fat lazy butt and voted... would bush be in office?" Probably, but the congress might not be republican controlled. Give it a try next time.
yeah i gave you green... but only because we're twins. |

mikeywl said:dscrap said:I read through 15 pages so far... How do you view your "Not Interested" topics? Is there a way to do this or is it gone forever?
Thanks
It's been stated a number of times in those 15 pages: <font color=white style="background-color: #3E3E3E;">"In the topics ratings filter "All Topics" will show every topic in the current forum, including topics you have chosen to be "Not Interested" in. The "Normal" option is very similar to "All Messages" but it will not show you the topics you have chosen to be "Not Interested" in."
TIM: Perhaps you can make a button saying "all topics" or "all messages" on every page right next to the filter frop-down. Otherwise it is difficult to figure out how to get back "not interested" messages. |

I have been cutting back on my fatwallet time (spending way too much money on stuff I really dont need...sickness) so I missed the experiment!!!!! But the way I figure it good for Tim for trying something new and being big enough to admit, it did not work the way they thought it would....hats off to you tim....now if we could just get more people to do that............... |

"Not Interested" is a complete waste of effort too. I am not interested in 90%+ of the posts on FW... so what am I going to do... click them all as "not interested"? I don't think so! It would make more sense to have an "Interested" button... could be used instead of the thread subscription email thing.
A big improvement would be to take all that ad crud out of the quick summaries. |

that is a lot of clicks!!
I would just like to know how much this list experiment cost. Why not ask us what we want versus shoving it down out throat. |

You can ADD your interesting topics to your favorites by clicking "Add to Favorites" in your intersting topic. I have been using it and I like it.
