so, order two of above, add a $10.20 filler of shoes, or order 3 pair - $20 off $80 at checkout = $49.80 for two pair, or $24.90 each shipped (excluding the filler)

I thinks thats why he wrote "excluding the filler"

Thanks OP, in for two of the brown and one of the black. $28 a piece, you can't beat that for Doc's. I'll put those on the shelf with my $30 doc marten gaucho crazy horse (Zappos.com) and my steel toe work doc martens (awesome for 12 hours on the dogs at work).
Argh...lured again by Am-zon. Ended up buying the Doc Martens mocs, Pony sneakers, and a nice pair of thongs. Looks like Am-zon's shoe sales are really worth it.

Arrgh, I would be a UK size 12 or 13....darn you people with smaller feet :-P.
boonkauc said: FYI, these shoes are no longer made in the UK. They are made in mexico now. And, it makes a difference.
I once ordered some Dr. Martens from Zappos. I chose the wrong size, so they sent me another pair. I hadn't sent back the first pair yet, but when I got the shoes, the new ones were noticeably different. The quality was much worse. The leather was harder and less flexible. Every detail down to even the laces was worse (China laces were stiff and felt like they had some sort of plasticy coating). I couldn't figure out why the shoes were so different until I finally figured out that the nice pair was made in the UK and the crappy one in China.
I had to keep the China ones because they were my size. I swapped the laces first though
Edit: Not sure if they make them in Mexico too, but my current pair is from China. And UK is tops in quality for sure.

Amazon also has some nice prices on shoes from Josef Siebel.
I had not heard of that brand before, but I took a chance. I got two pair, and they are very nice casual shoes. Very comfy, and lightweight compared to the comparable Sketchers shoes. FWIW, the sizing charts are pretty accurate for the Siebel shoes.
Now I am waiting on my two pairs of Martens to arrive.
My Moc toe lace-ups arrived last night. Size seems a bit big - I wear US 11, these UK 10s seem bigger. Nice padded sole though, and still a good deal with the 20 off 80 offer.
