Where is this $30 rebate you speak of for the trial of privacy guard?

Looks like this drive here has the rebate but it says you have to click the link that appears when connecting the drive.

And there's a Pricegrabber $5 Review Rebate, but only until 50 of them are requested. Get it while it lasts...

I have a 2.2GB US Modular Monster USB Drive, it is so slow and so hot, screws up my files regularly. I have to unplug and replug several times to get it recognized.

Is there a CF (microdrive) card inside?

There surely is, the real question is whether it uses a ribbon cable or a standard pin connection to fit into digicams/pdas.

looks beautiful.

The image on the TigerDirect web-site looks like it has a standard USB drive type connector.

I saw one member here wrote this in an older thread about Privacy Guard:
PrivacyGuard is a scam. I've been e-mailing and calling for over 8 months for them to send me the rebate on a flash drive I bought for my son. Also, they (Trilligent, and they are scammers too) starting charging me for their service even though I had called and cancelled during the "trial" period.

STAY AWAY - no, RUN AWAY from this company - it's not worth it!!!

And the other question is why is the description a lie, when this isn't a flash drive but a microdrive.

Still waiting for an answer to this question...

Drive arrived from previous deal, completly unstable... tested with several usb2 and all.... thing is going back....
I bet the product is flawed and that's why it is going cheap.
Avoid at all cost IMHO unless you really don't care about the data on it.

Jeez triple post, I guess I really meant " Stay away "
