I guess I'm withdrawing from buying this model. I need to have the traffic reporting abililty on mine. I already know how to drive to my work and back. The only time I would benefit with the c320 would be if I was in an unknown area on vacation. |

has anyone tried to use one of these on a commercial airplane? does it have a remote antenna option? holding up that big bulky thing to the window would be inconvenient. |

Just suction cup it to your forehead and then your arms won't get so tired holding it up. |

I bought this from Amazon 1 yr ago for $399 and I think it was a good deal at that price. Very easy to use and the glare issue is minimal as you can adjust the angle of the screen using the suction cup mountable cradle. The unit easily pops out so you dont have to leave it on your window for thiefs to see. I used the exisitng card to put CA and NV on it. I f I ever need to drive cross country then I will buy a bigger car. I just need to figure out how to upgrade to V8 software w/o paying 75 to garmin. I like the ability to input intersection into this GPS, something my infiniti oem system does not do. |

My PDA has the voice-text feature. I found it kinda annoying and actually turned it off. My wife used to hate the voice feature as well. It prompted you to pay attention to it too many times when you were just passing intersections.
The C320 prompts you for upcoming turns enough so that I use it as a guidance to your destination vs a back seat driver with the voice.

Does this unit name the upcoming street, or does it just say "turn left", "turn right" ? If I am lost, I need some specific instruction. |

I'm not sure if it's available at local Costco's or not (I haven't seen any comment in this thread about that yet either).
But one advantage to buying it online is that you can use a MasterCard or Visa which doubles the warrantee. In store, you can only use American Express. I don't think my Costco American Express card has that benefit. |

340 has a built in HD and has text to speech ie can pronounce street names. Other than that, pretty much the same unit. edit, the 340 has an optional FM traffic alert service but you have to subscribe/$$ for this feature. |

Thanks for the info...the text to speech feature is a big one for me, so I'll pass. But good deal, OP. |

The Costco AMEX True Earnings doubles the warrantee. I checked last week while buying the Sony laptop. |

Bought an I3 four weeks ago. Should I go with C320? Other than touch screen, what are the other differences? |

sure it works. Can you elaborate on "no time limit"? I guess they do have a time limit. |

I ordered the unit from Amazon for $309 shipped a week ago. The price diff isn't enough for me to return it and rebuy from costco, etc. My co worker says he gets annoyed from the text to speech feature on his unit and turns it down, ,so I wasn't so worried about this one not having that. From what I've read about other units with the traffic feature, is that its not all its cracked up to be, and you have to buy the unit separately, and pay for access. If the traffic feature worked great, I'd def. hold out for a unit that features it, but as of now the technology just doesn't seem to be there.
I can't wait to get this! I'm so excited!!!! |

I have heard about "unlimited" return policy at Costco. I bought one from Costco about 6 months ago for $350+tax. I love it. Can I buy a new one now and return the same new unit using the old receipt.
