SO basically, if you wanna run this program, EA wants you to disable all your firewalls, and get rid of windows security installs?
Please, don't tell me that they missed so many router problems in beta testing. It was an obvious problem that they didn't solve.
Someone should let Microsoft know about this. |

i've seen this on anandtech too.
apparently, this 'Ad-Ware IGA program thats not spyware', Does not play well with firewalls, and with no knowledge of what ports to open, EA says to disable your firewall to play bf2142.
But its not spyware, THEY Swear. It does not collect idenification info, it just creates a unique number for you that is tied to your ip. And then ad agency a, can sell all this info to ad agency b.
But don't worry, Gamers WANT ads in games.
