Well they've done it again! Today's Musicans Friend "Stupid Deal of the Day" looks to be a winner.
Up for your consideration is a Rogue RB120 15" 120 watt bass amp for $99 plus an extra $9.99 due to it's oversize shipping for this 71 pound item. The reviews are generally positive, but not all - so it looks like this is a bass amp that's great for beginners who have graduated from the toy amp that comes with bass guitars kits, but not ready for prime time or gigs. My take is that for the regular $199 price, you can buy a Crate, Peavey or Fender and have a much better combo amp... but for $99? Naaa, you'll have more combo amp here than what the higher-end brands can offer you. Heck, since bass combo amps are usually heavy, buy it as a second amp.
This is a really good deal for those who bought the Washburn/Lyon bass from Target at the closeout price... and have discovered the little matching 6" combo amp is a toy.
