Other than the energy it takes to spin the fan blade, the rest of the energy is transformed into heat. Law of conservation of energy - there is no other option (at least, not one that I can see). Electric heaters (fanless) are 100% efficient for this very reason.

I ordered online and got a notification to go pick up the item, and when I got there they claimed that they tried to call me to inform me that they don't have it in stock after all.

After some very minor persuasion, I walked out with a $24 gift card. Not too shabby, I didn't really need the heater anyway.

Technically, most of that eventually turns into heat due to air friction

Gas is usually much cheaper to heat with though...
