Seeing your screen name, I assume you're from TX. Therefore, you're charged tax. Note: OP's post said $578 + tax!

Sux, cause D3ll recently built a few "kiosks" in the middle of just a couple of malls here in GA, so now we have to pay tax on everything at D3ll.

Ah, well it's dead anyway. Funny thing is buydig has it for $617 no tax + free shipping which works out better for me since I pay 8.25% tax in Texas ;-(
