you can use the 20 off 50 for ps3 games too for some good deals. they don't have a very big selection but you can get a lot of the games for around 40.

If you add something to your cart and proceed to checkout(normal checkout, not the google one) you will see that you can provide ond and only one Gift Certificate. The button in front of it says "Finish Checkout". Also, the text "Please enter a credit card # if your purchase exceeds the amount of your Gift Certificate." indicates that if amount exeeds what is available with Gift Certificate, it needs to be taken from a CC.

Copied from another deal site: "RitzCamera - $50 Gift Certificate for $30, 40% Off, Nov 21
RitzCamera is selling $50 Gift Certificate for $50 - automatic $20 off using Google Checkout = $30 with free shipping via email. You can buy multiple $50 Gift Certificates by ordering one in each order.
You cannot stack Gift Certificates (use more than one Gift Certificates towards one order) through online checkout. However you can stack Gift Certificates by placing your order via Live Help Chat or by Phone (1-877-690-0099).

Yeah, if it is true, Canon 5D is less than $2000 before any rebate ($1400 after double rebate).

the checkout is awesome, but I would never try the GC thing if you plan on a purchase over $50
Buy GC with GCO= $30 Buy 2 games with GC+GCO= 108-50GC-20GCO=$38+tax+shipping
Check your logic there. You are not getting the original $50GC for free - just $20 off
Silly me!(didn't take 1st transaction into account) it's more like $68ish total. Still good for 2 games
edit: That is if you can use GC+GCO

I haven't tried but on the GCO page after you log-in, it has an option to use GC.

Is Ritz good for the Pre-Orders? I would like to Pre-order a few Wii games.

can't use ritz.com promotional coupon with GCO. The CSR comes up with tons of excuses:
1. Google doesn't allow it (loads of BS. pointed that GCO has coupon link. CSR moves on) 2. you will get item for free. (heck - what is ritz problem here ? ) 3. need to spend atleast $100 (coupon doesn't state that.. CSR apologies later..) 4. Billing says cannot use with GCO (why ? no explanation) 5. Coupon only for Ritz.com
Got fed up with their excuses... don't understand why Ritz would have problem using a promotional coupon on GCO. oh, BTW, they are very expensive. Minimum shipping for a game is $7 and if you go for pre-order items for Wii or PS3 the shipping starts from $23 for next day delivery. No option for ground shipping. Ritz sucks big time.
Edit by Deal Guide: I've learned that there was an initial glitch that did not allow the option for ground shippping to be shown. This has since been corrected.

"RitzCamera.com Online Gift Certificates cannot be redeemed at any store, retail location, Ritz Camera Center, Boaters World store, etc."
I assume that includes phone order, but not sure about the Live Chat.

Can you believe the nerve? Imagine them wanting to actually make money? What kind of business are they anyway?
I bought one over an hour ago, it didn't "process" yet. Got the receipt from Google Checkout, but no gift card data/email yet.
Also, the phone line has been swamped for over a half hour. Still on the line. [ed I gave up after 45 minutes on hold with no people]
According to SD, several people who bought last nite don't have cards yet (12 hours+)
WARNING Google is cancelling orders if you buy over 15 of these cards. Multiple people at SD are having problems with purchasing this quantity or greater. Additionally some credit cards are flagging 10+ purchases from GCO and shutting down the purchases separately.
From what I understand, Ritz has placed no limitations on this promotion when it comes to the purchase of gift cards. Note that there is the potential for Google to terminate this offer at any time. I feel that this opportunity may be limited.
I've stacked these gift cards over and over. Don't listen to those CS reps; I've never had any trouble.
P.S. I just purchased a valid gift card for $30 from Google. I did the same thing OVER and OVER again last promotion period, got all my GCs (they're damn slow) and bought a bunch of stuff. No problem.
If you want more details, you can check out the blog entry I put in about it: Text
I asked a csr at PhotoAlley.com if they would accept multiple GCs on a single purchase. He said that it depended on the GC's number. If the GC started with the number "6", no go. But, if the GC's number began with a "2", then they *would* accept multiples. That's as far as I got. Has anyone gotten their GCs yet? If so does the number begin with a "6" or a "2"? I'd like to buy a lens, but I sure would hate to hassle with having to return 10-GCs if they don't honor the deal.
From what I understand, the purchase of gift cards will soon not be allowed if that option has not ended already. Note that the $20 Off $50 is still good for product sales.
They have a Lenovo laptop with a $100 rebate that would end up with a net cost of under $400AR and GC discounts that I'm considering. But I'm not in a hurry.
