I'd also like to know if anyone knows about the quality of this DVD player. My 10 year old wants to buy a portable DVD player with her own money, but she really wants to know if it's worth the money.

I believe this one can only be used in Car with DC power.
From what I can see, this one can only be used in the car... am I missing something? I'm looking for something I can plug into an outlet also, for train trips. Any suggestions?

How did you get $42? I tried google checkout and it only took $10 off ($62-10=52)... i don't think eCost offers the 20/50 GCO, only the 10/30.

Thanks for the info...we ARE trying to stick to what WalMart has so that she can use up some online gift certificates she received for her birthday. I will check those out though!

Sorry, I was going on memory from THIS THREAD where I got one for $49. eCost must have changed the deal.
