Not hot if you ask me. I'm on Microcenter's website right now and do not see this TV...
maybe hes talking about b&m in that case that would be a good deal Not all of us have a Micro Center in their state. He might want to put "B&M Only" in his response.
Nice deal OP. About ~$40 less than the Syntax 537h that I posted a few days ago. I still prefer the 537h model as it has a better warranty, universal remote, and horizontal speakers; however this is a hot deal for anyone looking for a 37" - 40" LCD. Don't foget 2% ($14) FatCash
He's probably referring to the Black Friday deal. It was for the low end Syntax with no ATSC tuner and an insanely large rebate. I wish that those that post comments like below would post an actual current deal thats better and refrain from quoting history

Not hot if you ask me.I don't think so cos the BF one at MC was $499 AR. I got one and its spectacular.
Has anyone else wandered about the native resolution of <font color=white style="background-color: #3E3E3E;">1366, and the maximum pc resolution of <font color=white style="background-color: #3E3E3E;">1360? It doesn't seem to work well to have the two numbers be different.

This quote may help. It relates to a review of a Westinghouse LTV-32w3HD 32" LCD HDTV, but still may be relevant to answering your question.
" PC Monitor In addition to the VGA PC input, the LTV-32w3 HD's DVI input can accept PC signals at 1360 x 768 with 1:1 pixel mapping. This is a significant feature because most current PC video cards allow a resolution of 1360x768, but most LCDs do not support this resolution and therefore will scale PC images horizontally to their native 1366 pixels, resulting in a choppy image."
the code PAYPALFREE gives $20 off shipping with paypal but I can not stack it with the $100 off. Shipping and Tax kills this for me. ($49.99 tax and $59.99 ship) Is a Westinghouse 42" worth $154 more? (I picked it up the day after BF on bb.com)

PAYPALFREE is NOT working with the $100 discount.
PS Kind of funny this deal got almost no attention OR green when it was active for two weeks last month. I still think it's a decent deal though.
Yup, the MC one was the 337H. No tuner, but excellent image quality. It also has a 1:1 mode, so there will be no interpolation to the native resolution of the panel when using a PC.

Don't forget FC, and maybe even use the "Newegg preferred account" to save an additional 1.1% (it's in checkout). Might help a bit with the shipping/tax.

theshopper said: Won't work for me... What exactly did you do? Just entered the code and at the page when there is a payment method, chosed paypal. The $20 discount still stayed on the page, so the last thing left for me to do was hit submit which would take me to paypal.

Yeah... too bad the $100 discount drops off when the $20 discount comes up. Are you saying you got both the $20 and the $100?

Hmm it's not working for me. On the page that has the payment method there's no place to enter the coupon code.
Please tell me how you got both the $100 off plus paypal $20 free ship coupon to apply?

green for you m8! It was in an email, and yes there were a couple other codes... Is there any code for 337 or 342? I don't really need a tv with tuner. Thanks.

D'oh! Just as I'm sorting out the size of the set and whether or not it'd fit in the space I wanted to mount it, Newegg raises the price by $100...
It seems that the dollar off coupons from Newegg typically are valid for 1 - 2 days at most. I think this is how Newegg manages inventory. They toss us cheapskates at Fatwallet a bone every now and then but they are usually for a very limited time. My guess is that there will be another coupon for another LCD model in the next few days, perhaps the Syntax model w/o ATSC tuner???
Bah! It's $799 with the coupon now. They broke two the other day and now they have those working, but broke the first ones. One would hope they could make their promo email deals actually WORK!
