I've been using cheapphonecallcards for a while now... they have some of the best rates too! Their local lines are sometimes jammed and one needs to try a few times, but its a small trade off for cheap rates! |

Was using Reliance then GTalk but now swiched to using Vonage World Plan and haven't looked back. Although GTalk is the next best option if calling via mobile phone. |

I switched to Vonage World the day they released that plan. my Mom and sister are visiting from India so they have lot of calls to make. Loving it so far. average more than 2000 min/mo!! they will be returning back mid nov. my call volume will be dropping back to "normal" which is about 500 min/mo and that too I would like to call from anywhere and not tied to my home line. I am thinking of downgrading from Vonage World to old US only plan and save $10/mo. any comments/recommendations? |

any comments/recommendations? Depends on your needs but I'll stick with the Vonage for the time being. $ 10 is not much of a saving compared to unlimited calling to India and/or around the world. |

You could look at it this way.... 500mins x $0.02 = $10 So really, if you get per min rate lower than 2cent/min then you might save a little money, if you have a rate higher than 2cent/min then there is no saving for you. |
