Wish I would have sign up with Airtel when they first started and they were giving double talk time.
Anyway does anyone know if there is any offer going on since Diwali is going on?
I check Reliance, but they don't really have anything and airtelcallhome have only upto 200 min. free when you charge for $100. |

Not sure if its just me, but i haven`t been able to get a connection using Airtel for the last 1 month. The
1-800 number is always busy |

here's my experience with the airtel toll free number. It works everytime I use it from my home phone (dial direct works). It doesn't work at all nowadays from my office phone (dial direct won't work and phone number is not listed and doesn't show up in callerID)... |

i use net2phone for my home phone. Looks like they might be blocking the airtel phone numbers. If i call from cell phone it works |

1000 mins ... It is a recurring cost minimum of $28.00 per month. This works only for those who talk atlest 500min per month. Not a good one for everybody. |

It is a recurring cost minimum of $28.00 per month. This works only for those who talk atlest 500min per month. Not a good one for everybody. Above is still with hassles, it is hassle free if recurring is 9.99 per month and
rest is billed at 5.4 cents. I just heard from someone who called US that the rate
in India has dropped to Rs. 1.80 per minute with VAT over it. If that is true then
we are going to see soon some 5 Cent per minute widely available rates. |

never fixed it. I just decided to use my cell mostly. Now, for the past two weeks it seems to be working. Try it now and see. My airtel balance is almost depleted and at this point g3telecom is the reliable best rate correct ? |

I have seen stanacard.com as the best option. I have been calling India at 3.9 cents per minute. The quality is also awesome and it has many advanced features too. |

All I see is 7.8 cents and then there is a holiday promotion that brings it down to 6.5 cents. |

Stana Card is only best if you refer someone and any one wants that let me know. Everyone on FW can refer and you can pick your favorite poster. Stana is now 6.5 for India. Other benefit is direct number mapping to India calling makes it real easy while driving. I am using Startec (6.9c) and just ran out of Airtel (4c) balance of last year charge. |
