Why dont you guys try freecallplanet.com ? Its only 5.4 cents a minute. Only thing is you have to use the minutes you sign up for every month. But if you are using say approx. 600 minutes per month sign up for India Call 500 plan which gives you 500 minutes. Then the rest 100 it will charge you 8cents per minute. So still comes out to be much better than any of the cards out there. Call quality and service is excellent. I have been using them for 7 months now. |

That is a good deal if you are fairly certain of using 500 mins in a month. G3telecom at 6.5c/min (with auto recharge) currently seems to be the best rate for a reliable service with no commitments. |

Rebtel call quality to India is terrible. I have used it and other Voip services and with Rebtel the calls are not audible. |

Can anyone suggest a good/cheap calling card to call from the US to the Caribbean Islands? Specifically, to St. Kitts and Nevis. I have speedypin.com which seems to be reliable for $0.14 minute. TIA |

I used RebTel with three of my landlines and found a singificant timelag (1 second minimum) on all accounts... In fact I found the nonoh.net the cheapest (5.5 c/min) and good quality... ~ nonoh 5.5 c/min needs internet to use ~ |

Airtel just reduced their rates: $ 0.06/minute on cell phones $ 0.07/minute on land lines For $ 5 you can designate a number as a hotline and the rates will drop by $.01 to that number. |

Are you guys happy with the call quality of AirTel ? I have been using Reliance for last 3-4 years now and it has gone to dogs. Can't connect to the toll-free/toll number, call quality is not as great as it used to be and calls drop while talking. Guys, please suggest something better. |

Airtel charges a $5 fee for adding hotline numbers "Pay a one time fee of just $5 (per number) to register your 9 most frequently called Indian numbers as your "Hotline" numbers. calls to these numbers for as low as 5 cents/min on mobile phones and 6 cents/min on Landlines. This fee of $5 is valid for a period of 6 months, renewable at your will." So basically unless you talk more than 1000 mins witrhin 6 months these BS fees are unrecoverable....seems like they are unscrupulous merchants |
