+ ridiculous amount of taxes on it. You end up paying close to $25 after taxes for unlimited calling.
Been using actionvoip and it is pretty good for 1.4 cents/min on an average.. thanks to the low euro

I have no problems with Allvoi. No hidden charges but taxes add another $8-$10. Pretty good CS. Call quality is good. 99% of time, the call was connected.

How much is total per month for Allvoi? Vonage for me is 34.78 or around 35$s per month.

I read thru about half this thread and it sounds like there is no consensus on a good, cheap, clear line to India. I currently use a calling card called "Shukran" in the D.C area and while it is cheap, the call quality can vary and usually the folks on the line in India seem to have a harder time hearing.

You have to understand that the call quality will deteriorate once the number of subscribers increases. That's why I got Vonage since I don't have to deal with these "Fly by night operators" and can directly dial to my folks in India and elsewhere in the world. I can even carry the Vonage with me if I am travelling to make phone calls as long as there is an available DSL line. The call quality is good most of the times but the convenience of direct dial is a big plus.

These days the call quality on Vonage 2 out of 5 times is not good either. When the quality is bad, I use reliance which I have readily available as a backup. And at time you get a message with Vonage that <you do not have sufficient funds>, not sure why, but after trying few times it connects. So call quality with Vonage is OK, but the convenience of calling direct is good and also you can do the call forwarding to a number in India, which I find is good as well at time..

Try Zenofon with the best option. Also, Pingo has good offer right now. Check the links in this post.
