how do you find out what the 50% applies to? seems like it is hit or miss on the jeans -- even the ones that aren't listed as restricted.

edit: Just called in (I know!) and was told that there was no list or section of what the 50% off applied to. Was also told that the restriction list was not complete/incorrect. Seems incredibly poor form to post 50% off on top of items and then have it not apply. Screams bait and switch actually.

first of all, if you know, why did you call ???

second of all, if you're worried about a bait and switch, use a one-time virtual credit card number (if your credit card offers it)

The 'i know' was to pre-empt a bunch of "don't call" posts. I wasn't calling about the stackable coupon but rather what their 50% off promotion (the first page you see when you go directly to their website) applies to.

I also think you're missing the point of the bait and switch. They're advertising 50% off all over their specific product pages but what you add them to the cart you don't get the discount. When you call, you get told to buy something else. Their exclusion list is horribly inaccurate.

Edit: of course, newbs like mozer will give me red all day long without even reading the post.

In case jhampu doesn't have a chance to come back here to comment, I'm thinking that some jeans are cheaper, e.g. 501 as low as $15 and 514 as low as $18. Besides, he didn't say 5 pairs of jeans.

Makes em about $18.30 a piece which is a pretty good price. Combined with the AE deal, now I've got enough pairs of jeans to hold me over for a while. I hope Levi's 33x32 jeans aren't ridiculously baggy. The last time I bought a few shirts at the Gap, the large felt like an XL.

I got my shipment last week and they're all great, 3 jeans and a belt for under $45. Probably the best deal I've ever gotten in jeans - they fit me perfectly.

Did anyone else have weirdness with the belt sizes? I feel like a whale because I could barely make the large size belt meet my waist. I wear low-rise and I'm a size 7/8. I went to the store to return one pair (great but not my style) and the rest of the belts were the same. Ho-hum.

Another note - almost all the jeans in the store were on sale/clearance for $19.99, but I didn't bother sifting through b/c I got all my jeans for $13 and under. w00T!
