Welcome to MIT's OpenCourseWare: a free and open educational resource (OER) for educators, students, and self-learners around the world. It is true to MIT's values of excellence, innovation, and leadership.
MIT OCW:
Is a publication of MIT course materials Does not require any registration Is not a degree-granting or certificate-granting activity Does not provide access to MIT faculty
no, 'Is a publication of MIT course materials' it means you can attend the virtual class, without paying for it, or asking professor any questions. oh no credits for you to transfer. i'm looking through the economics classes now. may help me in understanding stock trades.
Actually your not limited to just MIT. There are other institutions including Notre Dame and Michigan State participating in the OpencourseWare Consortium.

As one who has spent upwards $20,000 over the last two and a half years earning my Bachelor of IT online, I can relate to the value of online learning and commitment to lifetime education pursuits.

The MIT course catalog is known as the Bulletin, and can be seen here.
Different departments have different numbers, which will help make sense of things. What number goes with which department can be seen here.
Finally, you can link down to it, but the plain-vanilla course listings are here. Despite the page title, it includes all the courses, not just spring 2007.
Thanks OP. The one nice thing about this is that you can find a good progression of books/topics to study for a certain degree, then maybe substitute better books than what they use if necessary.
