No barcode for me either..!
Same here. I guess they can enter it manually, but YMMV.
typically Staples coupons have no barcode, they just have to manually enter the coupon code #. At least that is how it always been for me.

EDIT: The only Staplers coupons I've seen without barcodes are the ones printed in the newspaper. |

It really depends on the store or the employee. An example is when they recently had the 12% Customer Appreciation coupon. Some people were able to combine that coupon with the $20 off $50 (or whatever the amount was) that was circulating at that same time, but others were not so lucky. The 12% has different restrictions that employees can enforce. The $off coupons can be combined as long as you meet the minimum dollar amount of each coupon. Example: If you are buying an item that is $200, then you could use 2 seperate $20 off $100 coupons to get $40 off. If you had a $30 off $150, you could not use it with the $20 off $100 for your $200 purchase. In order to do so your purchase would have to be greater than $250, as that would be the minimum coupon requirement. hth |

When looking at his/her feedback, why are many of the item #'s showing as "private"? |

In theory you're correct. However, I have come across several $taples CSR's/managers that have insisted on "only one coupon per transaction". |

I got it too. It's good for online orders as well as in-store purchases, unlike the $20 off $100. |

I think you are confusing Staples with Staplers. My Staplers do not have a bar code except on the box they come in.. |

Yeah, I'd love to know where he gets all of those coupons from. Staples will send you 10 off 10 coupon (printed in color) for both online and instore with your rewards card when you sign up their rewards program. But I haven't seen the 10 off 10 online only coupon yet. |
