The bar code is there now.

I was just thinking, since it's a printable coupon that is easily accessible from the Staples homepage, it should be useable at competitor stores also (OD and OM). If they need to verify it, it's a simple visit to the Staples page.

YMMV of course if the manager of said store takes it, but in general, all 3 stores usually accept these kind of in-store competitor coupons.

Yes, this coupon should work at OD and OM.

This was great timing. My wife and I were just wanting to buy two HON Filing Cabinets from Staples. They were on sale for $109 at our local Staples (but $119 at the Staples by my work).

I forgot 1 coupon at home, so printed it out form the in-store kiosk. My wife and I bought 1 cabinet each so we could both use a coupon. We took the cabinets out and came back in to use the $20 off $20 coupon for some files and some boxes to organize my tools. Great timing.

Thank you! I had to buy a new copy of QuickBooks Pro and used this coupon towards it. Final cost after MIRs, etc is $139.99 plus tax. I got: QuickBooks Pro 2007, Learning QB, Invoice Manager, Credit Card Processing and $20 Staples gift card.

Last time I tried to redeem a coupon ($10 out of $30 or $50) while buying ink, they would not let me, the manager came out, still no go. They said that it has only 5digits under barcode (non sense). But they had a point when they said the web address is "e-$tap1es" or something of that sort and that's not the "$tap1es.com" website. Any similar experience?

I used the one that still had the "X" no-printie part above the 5 digit code and it was accepted last night (Pinole, CA Staples).

well i dont know about last time with e-Staples but this time, this one is from Staples.com definitely.

so if they want to be an idiot about taking your money for already overpriced ink that you're buying, just take it to another competitor like OD or OM.

LuNoTiCK said:How would you combine these coupons. I want to buy something that is over $200, it says you can't combine them.
Its YYMV.
I had seen cashiers who use $off$ coupon and a few $3 ink coupons all together.
I was also told by some cashier/store managers that only one coupon per transaction per day per customer.
Also, on the $3 ink coupon, it stated 3 coupon a day.
Some cashiers will let you do all 3 coupons in one transaction, but some insisted that one coupon per transaction.
Its a huge YYMV with Staples coupons.....
Good Luck.

Thanks, OP! Used the $20 and combined with the $5 off $5 to get a Kensington mouse pad with gel wrist rest and a $89.99 chair for about $88.

Awesome! I picked myself up a TI-89 Titanium calculator. PM'ed it to Best Buy ($134.99)...

157.48 - 24.74 (110% PM) - 20 = 112.74.

Score!

Went To the Linden, NJ store today. The manager (Ralph) said that they cannot take the coupon as their coupons are only 16 digits and mine was a fake one. The checkout lady also tried to keep (more like confiscate) my coupons which I got back after some arguements. Went to Woodbridge store and bought the TI-84 silver with no problems at all. If they do not want to take the coupons, why bother publishing them? Linden store manager Bad Bad Bad!

used it to get taxcut state, my attorney, and ms money deluxe.
pm TC to target (-$5), coupon(-$20), 1 MIR($35 for my attorney), 1ER ($40 for money) = $12 AR including tax. and a $.99 box of band aids to take it over the $100 threshold (the PM took it down below $100)

thanks OP

Taken from their website:

Staples Coupons
Please enter your 5- or 16-digit coupon code below. Instead of a coupon code, you may also enter your Staples RewardsSM check number. You may not enter both.
The manager in the Linden store is a MORON!!!
Please go back to that store and poke Ralphie's eye out
