As far as I can tell, they don't have any good rebate deals this week to combine with this coupon. Can anyone think of any good deals?

here's what I got...
Stephanie We have forwarded this issue to our website team. 10:54:27 AM nancy do you know what this is all about????? 10:54:39 AM Stephanie The link will be updated later today. I apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you for bringing that to our attention.
Hopefully there really is a coupon and they weren't just teasing us.
A potential deal I thought of using the $20 off $100 is to buy TaxCut Premium Federal + State (SKU # 665249) for $29.99 and then get some of the free-after-rebate items that come with it. If you buy enough freebies to bring you up to $100, then the TaxCut becomes $9.99 after the coupon (+ tax on the FAR items) (minus the Staples rewards earnings, which offsets or partially offsets the tax, depending on where you live).
also to whoever is looking for a L sharp desk, the Gemini L computer desk is on sale for $59.99. if you get more than $100 stuff, you cancombine this $20 off $100 + $20 off $20 from signing up magazine free trial.

Very unlikely that they would let you combine the $20 off $100 with the $20 off $20.

Actually they would, but you would have to spend at least $120

It really depends on the store or the employee. An example is when they recently had the 12% Customer Appreciation coupon. Some people were able to combine that coupon with the $20 off $50 (or whatever the amount was) that was circulating at that same time, but others were not so lucky.

I have tried that and I they will not stack coupons... (at least locally)... you have to break it down to separate orders...

Well....it comes and goes....but still doesn't work.
Maybe they were just trying to draw attention to their web site and there really was no coupon. If that's the case, I guess their plan worked. But hopefully there is a valid coupon and it will be posted on the site soon.
EDIT: Actually it's not gone, but sometimes you may need to refresh the page to see it.

I go to the upper right and click on their logo.. one time I get $save $9 on copy paper, then click it again and get the $20... and when you click the $20... it goes back to the save $9

That's the same thing that we're all seeing. Hopefully the "glitch" will be fixed soon.
On SD they're saying that they were told via Staples live chat that the coupon should be up "later today or tomorrow". They really should have made sure that this would work before posting the link on their home page.
its defintaely a 20 off 100, so no big deal. http://www.Staples.com/sbd/cre/marketing/coupons/009282_20off100/index.html?cm_sp=marketing-_-wow-_-20%20off%20100%20coupon
Without the barcode they will probably give us some grief if we try to use this coupon. But I guess it's worth a shot, since they will just have to type in the 5 digit code and it should work.
Offer expires 1/14/07. Valid in Staples stores only. Limit one per customer, nontransferable. Minimum purchase requirement of $100 must be met with purchases to which no other coupon or instant savings offer applies. May not be combined with any other coupon. Coupon must be surrendered. No copies/facsimiles. No cash/credit back. Not valid on services, gift cards, postage stamps or prior purchases. Tax not included in calculating minimum purchase.

Same here. I guess they can enter it manually, but YMMV.

I see lot of $10 off $10 stalpes coupons in eBay for $3.50. Are these legit?
Staples Coupons Please enter your 5- or 16-digit coupon code below. Instead of a coupon code, you may also enter your Staples RewardsSM check number. You may not enter both. The manager in the Linden store is a MORON!!! Please go back to that store and poke Ralphie's eye out
