I bought a set of these at WalMart 6 months ago for ~$9.00 each; while not the best wipers - they are well worth the price + the warranty is Solid. Unlimited replacement arm & wiper assemblies for life & no shipping fee if you send in your warranty card. The company makes various models to which this warranty may also apply.

I was informed by a mechanic and some online searching that these wiper blades are not recommended because they place too much drag on your wiper motor (due to the friction of 3 blades vs. 1) and can wear it out.

Not saying it's a bad post, at all. Just a heads up!

I have TripleEdge, had them since 2002, have yet to get my windshield wiper motor to fail.

I usually call in twice a year, sometimes more often to get replacements.

I just ordered replacements in November, but one broke in the recent ice storm. Called them up, another one is on the way.

One caveat, you can not use them with Rain-X, they shudder. Something about silicone on silicone. I use Rain-X windshield washer in the winter anyway, and then get new blades in the Spring after washing the windshield with the solution they recommend to get rid of Rain-X.

These blades are no worse than the OEM Honda ones that came with my car. By the way, Honda refills are like $1.50 at the dealer. These are refills, not the whole assembly.

These are absolute junk.

Using more than one edge can cause additional wear on your windshield - the wiper motor will handle it fine. With these or with those really stupid twin blade wipers the second edge drags across a relatively dry windshield with every stroke. Throw in a little grit and the blades will wear out faster than normal blades (the previous poster said six months) and your windshield will also show signs of wear. In freezing conditions the extra edges fill with ice.

Bosch Micro Edge II's are the best I have tried, but I am wondering how the new blades by Michelin will do as they look like a slick design.

HOLY CRAP! This is the Stupidest statement I have ever heard. YOU mean to tell me that YOU think that three little rubber blades are going to wear out your windshield?? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Oh... Wait... Did you say you were using the Diamond encrusted wipers?? Are you driving a 1955 Jeep with a paper windshield?

I have been using these for two years, in the Florida Sun, and only replaced them once. They work great.

I think you are confusing the multi wiper set up with this TRADE NAME TripleEdge.

Quick Question: does it cover the wiper blade? I was reading it said only the wiper (which is the arm) is lifetime warranty not the (wiper blade)
I like my OEMs still working nicely after 2 years, showing very little wear and I live in washington state it rains so much here! Of course this is due to good maintence like cleaning it with rubbing alcohol.

Yes, they send you new wiper assembly with new blade.

I personally haven't had any experience with these-but I was listening to Car Talk the other day, and they mentioned the quality of the glass in windshields have gone way down since the 70's. Don't know about excessive wear due a windshield wiper, but glass on my 2004 CR-V is definitely not as smooth as it use to be.

LOL .. my friend got cut off in NYC traffic and LIGHTLY punched the windshield in their Ford SUV and the windshield puckered and spidered. They had to get the whole thing replaced.

Okay, so you bought them at WalMart...where do we buy them from with Free S/H? You have three links in your OP and no mention of who is offering the wipers for < $10 shipped.

I think OP meant that free s/h is for the replacement under warranty. That is, when u try to get the originally purchased wipers replaced from the manufacturer.

But still no item on WalMart.com. Guess its only YMMV. wierd since on the manufacturer website, they state that WalMart is an authorized dealer...

Sorry, but that doesn't make sence...OP should clarify what the deal actually is here. Red for being a cryptic deal and no link for purchase or mention of B&M only.

That my friend is NOT from wipers. That is from road debris and being "sandblasted" at 80+ MPH.

I think I am going to have to type slowly, so you understand. On the side note, I want to smoke whatever you are smoking.

Step 1. Buy TripleEdge wipers from WalMart for about $10.
Step 2. Send in registration card that is inside the package.
Step 3. Install the wipers.
Step 4. Use the wipers whenever it rains, snows or the windshield is otherwise dirty.
Step 5. Use them a multiple times.
Step 6. When they wear out, call the number on the website or the copy of your registration card that you sent in at step 2.
Step 7. If you sent in registration card, the replacements ship for free.
Step 8. Once the replacements arrive, take the old ones off, and install the new ones. Go back to Step 4.

Does it make sense now?
