Just came back from local Target with some clearance items in their golf section. I've seen these from time to time, may just be regional (Texas), but I'm not sure.
Lots of golf ball boxes were less than half off. Not any premimum brands, but more of your average ones: Top-flight, Maxflite, Wilson. Normal priced around ~$15 were selling for ~$6-7.
Also some Nike and Callaway golf gloves were half-off.
Not bad for a hacker like me.

Sooo???? Not everyone constantly checks the Target clearance thread for updates. Why do people constantly pop a proverbial boner to be the first to post "REPOST"?? Nice find OP and thanks.

i too just returned from target and they have (on clearance) an Eddie Bauer tent type screen room 14' x12' for sitting in bug free. was $99, now $24.99. good quality, great price. obviously ymmv.
Nice post OP, even though my Target normally lags well behind on clearance.
I agree on the thanks for posting. Everyone doesn't subscribe and constantly check the Target, Office Depot, Home Depot, etc threads, so I don't consider this a repost.
This is always the best time of year to stock up on some scratch golf balls from Target, once they hit 75% off.
I don't golf now , but thinking of taking a few classes this coming season. Is it worth spending 50 (assuming my local Target have them on clearance) now ? Are they good for a beginner ?

50 is about as cheap as you will ever find golf clubs not labeled "Fischer-Price"
Go ahead and snag a set, beat em up learning the game, and once you get your swing grooved, go get fitted for real clubs.
