Screencapture, order it, and then complain. Might not get another GB or ram, but they might give you something.

The BB ad summary for this laptop at SD lists graphics as ATI Radeon Xpress 200M
Very seriously considering this one as a cheap home laptop for a friend--I'd actually prefer it came with XP, since I'm still leery of Vista, but seems like a good deal overall.

XP was much better than previous Windows, but it is gone now and will not be coming back. Vista is here to stay -- sorry. You might as well take the plunge as you will sooner or later... Getting Vista for free with a new computer is way better than getting XP...
good price and it comes with Vista perfect for my client while waiting on this pre-order, I might get a hot deal for an XP lappie from different store clearance sales
Looks like a good deal! I hope Gateway makes a comeback. I personally really like them. I wonder if they will make one with an integrated webcam this year. When they do, I will be the first to get it. Green for OP! Great price! Vista Home Premium too! The Ram thing might be a good opportunity for a freebie because I am sure it will ship with only 1GB, maybe we should print this out to show them that it says 2GB. Put ol' Firedog to work at installing my free gig!

Very nice deal at this price and without rebates.
If the other makers like Dell, HP ..etc are making enticing deals for the Vista blastoff... that would be great!

I bought it in store, but won't be able to pickup until 1/30. It comes with a free canon mp printer after MIR.

Typo? Anyhow, I just wanted to make sure nobody makes a mistake and thinks it comes with 2GB. Usually they cheap out and make it 1GB in two 512MB modules too, it's really annoying when you have to throw out one or both) come upgrade time...
Edit: haha, I just realized they meant to say "enough for even the most demmanding users"! Unless they are intentionally berating their own system.

They might be since they're not making much margin in the $600 laptop market. That's also why we don't see any $600 laptop reviews. They don't want people to know that the $1000 system made for the "power user" with extra ram and hard drive space is less than 5% faster in most applications.

This is the only little information about the Pentium Dual-core compared to Core duo
The T2050 is from the Intel Core Duo Family and has the following Specs: 1.60Ghz/2MB L2/533FSB. The T2060 is a new Processor midway between a Celeron and a Core Duo. It is called the Pentium Dual Core T2060, it is lower spec'd than the Core Duo and it runs hotter. It is almost akin to having a turbocharged Celeron. The Specs for the T2060 are: 1.60Ghz/1MB L2/533Mhz. Not all Extensions and functionality are present on this CPU, full specs will only show up when a machine is released with this CPU.
Guess it's one way to save cost and offer a cheaper laptop. Any thoughts?
Dimensions: 13.38"(W) x 9.76"(D) x 1.39"(H) Weight: With 6-Cell and Weight Saver-5.21 lbs With 6-Cell and CD-ROM-5.47lbs With 8-Cell and CD-ROM-5.65 lbs With 12-Cell and CD-ROM-6.08 lbs)
Just to second what sunleaf said, I would personally wait till more specs are released for the t2060 processor and more real world performance data comes in. 1 MB L2 cache sounds more Celeron-ish to me than core duo or core2 duo. Just my 2 cents.
