I hardly used the nicotine gums: only during the first ten days and after a trip to NY (I guess I saw so many people smoking there that I kinda got caught by the stream).
By now, the Nicorette purchase costs are about to be offset by the cost of the non-purchased cigarettes. And I am planning to send parts of my Nicorette stash to a friend who is trying to quit (but in the Big Apple it's harder). I already gave her the fruity ones from the other $4 shipping deal.
