Is Amazon.com an authorized FUJIFILM dealer or reseller? Rebate clearly states they must be to qualify. Finding V10 on Fuji website and then click to buy does not list Amazon.com. Does include CompUSA, Best Buy, Sears and J&R (which makes me think Amazon is a no go). What do you guys think?
Hi- looks like Fuji just started offering a $30 rebate for the F10 or Z1 - I had to fill out a form to get it but I though I might spare someone else the hassle

Be patient, it is a few clicks and a PITA to reach the PDF file.
What is the P.O. Box ?
Proof-Of-Purchase Requirements: 1.) Original UPC Bar Code from Camera Box. 2.) This original claim form, with your return address and camera serial number. Mail To: FUJIFILM FinePix Digital Camera Rebate P.O. Box New Castle, DE 19720
I bought this camera for $150 shipped 2 months ago and its a damm good deal. You can't find another small size 3" LCD camera for anywhere near this price.

Not sure about Amazon.com being an authorized reseller. I emailed Fuji at the address found on Fuji's Lame Rebate Site and they replied quickly stating that Newegg.com is an authorized reseller. You might wanna go that route to make sure.

How is pic quality? especially at night time.
i use auto mode, all the pictures take at night time indoor with flash are set at iso 640, that came out pretty clear and sharp, even though the cam doesn't have focus assist light, pro reviews say from iso 800 on this camera has more noise than f20 and f30 though

The small print about how the rebate can't be posted online without "written permission" of Fuji concerns me. Where are we supposed to get the rebate from? Will it be legit if I just print it out? Oh, and "To register you product online" is a typo.
main gimmicks are the LCD size and the smallish size of the camera. Main bad points were ergonomics with hand placement, no AF assist lamp (although it seemed to focus relatively well), minimal manual controls (we're tlaking white balance even not just aperture/shutter),and worse ISO performance than the F20 and F30. I think there's a reason it fell in price so quickly down to the F20 range.... the F20 is probably a better choice for a little more.

Well worse ISO performance than the F20 is still a lot better than most of the competition. Indoor and medium/low light photography is still very good IMHO.
I have an F31 and got the V10 for my less technical brother. The huge LCD is quite good, I would not call it a gimmick. Ergonomics, while not great (make sure you have the wriststrap on) are not uncomfortable. The camera is beautifully finished, the metal case and controls feel expensive, and it is significantly smaller, more pocketable than the F20.
I think it a great choice for the average user, particularly those who like a slick design. At $250 far too expensive. At $137 a killer deal, and outrageous if the rebate comes through. I am pleased.
