Seems like a good deal to me. In the South you can usually get some excellent outerware deals this time of year, but I'm not in a place where I can drop by the department stores on a regular basis and my brother needs a new one since he had a zipper break last week in Boston. Can you return these to the B&M store if necessary?
Thanks, OP! In for a Lambskin. |

Found reviews on the Covington to be poor. Knowing a jacket will tear easily or have the zipper poop out after a month is not a good sign of quality. Nice looking junk, no matter how cheep, is still junk. I did not see poor reviews on the other coats though. |

Anyone know if this is online only? Do B&M stores have similar sales? |

Wondering, If it's real Lambskin jacket, then how many lamb will have been killed to make these jackets? Is it really how things work to make leather jackets? or they just use "lambskin" word for fake leather? I can not make-up my mind till someone tell me the fact. |

I really don't see how you could not understand if this is real leather. anyway IT IS. as to how many lambs I'm not sure, but I guess it would depend on how large the jacket is. If it is just lambskin you have a problem with I believe the cheaper one is made from cow. If it is all leather you have a problem with you should move on to another deal. |

Does it really matter? The lambs are already dead. If it was fake, the original price would be the sale price.
Umm, lamb shish kabobs. I might have to order a bunch of coats!!! |

Umm, lamb shish kabobs. I might have to order a bunch of coats!!! Yea, really. If this was a case of toss the lamb after you get the skin, then I'd be onboard, but I suspect that the insides of these skins ended up wrapped in plastic and styrofoam at the meat market.

What is it with the weather reports? "oh great deal, but I live in the 7th layer of hell (otherwise known as Florida), so I really won't be needing one of these." I can't wait till a douche goes on sale, to see how many of these dicks respond with "oh yeah, thats a really good price, but I'm a dick, so I don't really need this item". |

sensia said:Not much of a deal in terms of quality. If you believ these things cost 100 bucks, you are wrong. It uses mostly fake leather and the material is pretty thin. Expect a few tears after some use. If possible, look at teh Sears reviews.
I am not gonna give red because I like negative comments as much as positive comments but the site says "100% Lambskin leather". Do you have any evidence that Sears is lying/mistaken about this? (I am referring to your use of the term "fake".)

Before you are talking about Chinese Crap, please think using your head - Who owns these craps? Who sells these craps to you? Who gets most profits from these craps?
mg42 said:At least it is not one of the pieces of chinese crap made out of strips of leather. $29.99 does not seem to be too much even if it is not a $250 jacket. |
