know what you're doing will get it work, downloading with firefox!

I have downloaded it but I am wondering if it is like the online version where it prepares the taxes for free but doesn't give you the result until you pay. Only way to find out is to go through the whole process and see if it generates the forms at the end.

worked for me

Thanks OP, worked great on Firefox

How does this rate compared to turbotax?

Great Deal, Thanks OP!

It seems to take forever to download the software. I already tried 2nd time. Does anyone has the same problem?

Thanks, OP. Downloading worked fine for me.

Not to threadcrap...this is actually a good deal, but from a previous FW deal I got TaxCut for about -$10 AR. Sure, it required rebates, but I did get them all (already) and it included state as well, plus an efile for both fed and state. If you're planning to efile, you'll get hit for $15.95 on the federal here...plus you've got to then purchase state software and pay another $15.95 efile for that. Just letting you all know, and having gone through this before (and this year), I was very pleased with the simplicity of having the Federal+State+2 free efiles included and how easy it made everything.

I think H&R did this last year but they stick it to you to buy State separately... unless of course you live without state tax.

Thanks OP! Free is always good.

So what? Your deal was great, but is no longer there.
Still this is a great software and it is free.
I do not do Efile anyway. Once the Federal is correctly done, The State is a much easy job.
I can not do it with Firefox. It was downloaded smoothly with IE 7.
Thanks OP!

Thank OP for heads up. Since I will end up paying this year, I will send my printed return in. This will come handy.

Nice find. Some states let you file for free on their respective website; so this comes in handy for the federal. Thanks OP!
