rbraden said:Not to threadcrap...this is actually a good deal, but from a previous FW deal I got TaxCut for about -$10 AR. Sure, it required rebates, but I did get them all (already) and it included state as well, plus an efile for both fed and state. If you're planning to efile, you'll get hit for $15.95 on the federal here...plus you've got to then purchase state software and pay another $15.95 efile for that. Just letting you all know, and having gone through this before (and this year), I was very pleased with the simplicity of having the Federal+State+2 free efiles included and how easy it made everything.
well, using your time machine you could go back and buy huge portions of land in north america. Then declare yourself as a nation and make a treaty with the newly formed USA government for protection... come back to the present time and not have to pay taxes. |

Is it much better the normal TaxCut version? There are a banch of tax programs that allows free e-filing as we FWers are very much aware of. Well I am downloading it anyways But I don't think I will use it since I can't justify paying $15 when I can get a free e-filing.
Am I missing something here ?? |

I bought TaxCut Deluxe 2007 including the free Fed and State Efile. This totally comes in handy because it's the premium version, so I THINK I essentially get a free upgrade to Premium but still get to use my free efile's I bought with the Deluxe. I jumped on this now, and I'll decide later whether to install it or stick with what I bought.
Thanks OP! |

very nice. Need to see if we can find a deal on the state. I got to do multi-state returns (3 - NJ,NY,CT) this year since I changed job during the middle of 2006.

Does the $24.95 state program include eFile? or do we have to pay another $14.95 on top of that.... |
