Yep Paypal treats customs like criminals when in fact they have some of the worst business practices ever. It has only gotten worse since eBay got a hold of them.

I can't wait until we can pay and take payment from eBay via google checkout
20% off selected items is pretty worthless. google's $20 off of everything was a much more interesting sale.
I just checked the link and it is not even 20% off of selected items. It is "up to 20%". There are only a dozen items on sale and some of the discounts are less than 5%. Don't waste your time.

Paypal and their half butt attempts. They know they don't need to do what Google did cause people will still use Paypal as long as Egay is around.

The only deal on that page is the HP Laser Jet 1020 for $96 (20% off) + $5 for shipping.
Nothing special. An external hard drive with an HDTV tuner inside it? What's up with that? Even if that part is a misprint, $85 for a 160 GB hard drive isn't hot at all.
74.99 with FS, with 20 rebate, with 15 paypal... omg.

For Shoebuy, wondering if anyone tried code MARCH07 (20% off) stacked with the 10% fat cash, and 20% discount for using paypal? If all these things can be used together this would be CRAZY HOT. (otherwise, their prices are way too high!)
74.99 with FS, with 20 rebate, with 15 paypal... omg. If you still have your $15 rebate from PayPal. I would guess that most have used up their rebate. But good deal overall for OP!!! GREEN!
$74.99 AIS/AC Western Digital Extreme Lighted 3.5" External Hard Drive Model #: WDXC1600JBRNN · HDTV Tuner Inside · 10000:1, 1366 x 768 · 1000 cd/m2
It states HDTV tuner inside but I can't find it in the specs anywhere else or in the reviews on Newegg....a mistake? Here is a LINK to the pdf spec sheet

Paypal has to be getting scared. Their $0.80 per trx fee to merchants is eventually going to be the death of them. Especially with Google being basically free until 2008.

yeah screw paypal.com freaking taking so much $ from our eBay payments.
this is deal is not hot at all. at least for Newegg.com
I though it was for all items.. but the stuff they have on sale is not even that good.

I could not get them to stack at Shoebuy -- if anyone figures out a method - please post. I already tried the
1. Link from FW for FatCash 2. Add item 3. add march07 promo code (20% off realized) 4. open Shoebuy link from paypal 5. return to cart - item there but only 1 20% off - now showing "paypal member discount"
Would seem they already made sure there was no stacking. Paypal discount conditions do specify something like "not available with any other discount..."

OP, could you please replace "Newegg" with "Newegg (selected items only)" in order not to propagate paypal's misleading advertising.

GCO's no shining star either. I recently ordered three items from TRU and while my google checkout receipt showed all three, they only managed to transmit two to TRU. It worked out for the best since I ended up getting my two puzzles for $2 (instead of $10 each, retail) and decided to forget about the third item.
Paypal's still way worse, but GCO isn't up to par with regular store checkout.

Compared to what? Regular store checkout that you don't get any $ off anyways? Paypal sales are BS. What good is a sale if it is only 20% off selected items? It is just a marketing scam to get people to come to the site, like how many B&M stores have "sales."

I was wondering about it, too. Seems it started back in July of last year, and only for select online sellers, like Buy.com and Ritz camera.

None of the sellers listed in this post had the $20 off $50, so it could never apply, at least that I could see in the 2 minutes I looked.

Don't use this with Shoebuy if your order is less than $50 since there are $10 off coupons on FW. If you use the paypal link, you have to clear that cookie in order to change to a different promotion code, fairly annoying... most promotion codes can be changed at the Shoebuy shopping cart but not this paypal one.

What code is this?
I only found this: SAVE10 But get this errors: * Promotion 'save10' is valid only on Bags, Luggage, and Accessories.
