Anyone else tried this? It's pretty trivial to get your $15 of stuff for under $10, making it a moneymaker, but when I tried this (3 times) this afternoon, my coupon didn't print out.

The CS folks tried to tell me that it was because I used coupons, but I'm not buying that. My guess is that one of the products isn't coded right to activate for the coupon.

I used:

4 Golden Grahams * $1.67 = $6.67
4 Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks * $1.67 = $6.67
2 Pop Secret * $1.00 = $2.00
Total of $15.34 ($10.34 after coupons)

2nd order was the same
and 3rd order was
2 Lucky Charms, 2 Trix = $6.67
2 Fruit Snacks = $3.33
2 Warm Delights = $3.00
2 Pop Secret = $2.00
$15.00 total ($9 after coupons)

None of the 3 times it printed.

I hope you got them to write something up for you. So you get the gift card.

Well, it was 3 separate transactions split up at the same physical trip through the line.

I went to CS and complained, and they gave me a $10 coupon "just this once", but I thought I'd be pushing my luck to get her to give me 2 more. I'll save the receipts and come back a couple other times.

I'm just interested to see if I'm the only one with this problem or if other people have been able to get it to work with $15 before coupons.

Bring back the grocery forum!!!! I went to DAGG after they closed it down but then that got merged into families.com and there don't seem to be that many people posting there...

The Jeno's Crisp N Tasty pizzas are .59. Certainly not the best frozen pizza but not too bad. Great for afterschool snacks and in a hurry dinners. I add cheese on them and the kids love'm.

The "purchase price" has to be over $15. So for instance, 5% off Meijer card just reduced the "purchase price" to be under $15. A trip to customer service desk fixed this, since I should not be "punished" by using a Meijer creidt card. Perhaps using coupons will work differently!?

Got these today:

5 General Mills Cinnamon Toast Crunch x $2 = $10
3 General Mills Golden Grahams x $2 = $6
4 x $0.75 off for two coupon = -$3
------------------------------------
Total = $13
-$10 coupon printed out
------------------------
Net cost = $3 for 8 cereal boxes

Thanks OP! Thinking of going back to get more items.

I did this deal 3 different times today. I made sure the cashier rang everything I had up first then took off all my coupons so I could make sure it said my total was $15.00 before coupons. I used mfg coupons for .50/1 cookie, .35/1 brownie, and .50/1 warm delights. I also had coupons for cereal and some other stuff I got. It printed off a $10 gift card coupon each time. I then went ahead and bought the 3 $10 gift cards. I had to do those in 3 different orders. My store double up to 2 like coupons and lets you do 3 different orders. I got my coupons off of eBay so I will get lots of stuff this week! Nothing better than free food!!! Another deal is the Lysol products B1G1 Free. I used 2 coupons each on the toliet bowl cleaner and got that free as the regular price is $1.96. Bathroom cleaner and lysol kitchen cleaner is also on sale and there is mfg coupons out for it. It has been awhile since I got stuff free at meijer. I will now use my gift cards on other orders and repeat my orders until I use up my coupons! I have about 20 of each product!

Boodle.com has a number of coupons that you can print off for the items on Meijer.

$1 off 2 GM cereals - $3.33 - $2.33
$1 off 2 yoplay - $1.67 - .67
.75 off 2 granola - $3.33 - $2.57
$1 off 1 biscuits - $2.50 - $1.50
$1 off 2 Honey Cheerios - $3.33 - $2.33
$1 off 2 Receese Puffs - $3.33 - $2.33

.50 off 2 Pop Secrets - $2 - $1.50
.50 off 1 Basic 4, Raison Nut, Honey Nut Clusters

I used the preview option with my printer driver (Epson) and the print screen button to save a pic of all of the coupons. I don't think they will give you a problem with them, and if they do, just tell em that is how your printer printed em and "So I have to buy a new printer to use web coupons here?"

Yoplait
Cinamin Toast Crunch
Receese Puffs
Cake Mix
Cookie Mix
Pop Secret
Chex
HEalthy CerealBiscuits or Rolls

To follow up on my earlier experience - I went back the next day, got my $10 coupons and it has worked fine for me ever since. I've probably done it a total of 10-15 times this week.

Well, I am sure there are people who did better than I did, but I ended up with:

40 boxes of cereal
28 boxes of popcorn
8 boxes of granola bars
for
$28.06 after all is said and done.

Thanks to the poster who mentioned Boodle, that saved me some money!

I was kinda mad, the cereal here was 3 for $6, not $5 like was in the flyer...

Just a little bit of info. I bought 3 $10 gift cards and gave them one coupons and it took all 3 gift cards off my order so I got 3 of them for FREE!!!! I did this 4 different times today. Get $120 worth of gift cards!!With 4 coupons!Of course I bought other stuff with it but the last cashier that I did it with said oh I didn't know it would do that!

I have to go back and talk to a Meijer manager. I bought my $15 of groceries (16.56 to be precise--had the cashier ring it up first), then used about 2.50 worth of coupons (my wife refused to buy some of the stuff that would have gotten it under $10 with coupons). No form printed out. So I went to Customer Service and asked.

"Sorry, the price needs to be $15 AFTER the coupons are deducted."

"Where does it say that in the ad?"

"I . . . [looks] I don't know. Let me call the manager."

Calls the shift manager (not store manager), who says, "Sorry, it needs to be $15 after coupons. Nothing I can do. You can return the stuff, or come back and speak to the store manager this week."

Obviously, it doesn't say that. But just as obviously, the coupons don't cost the store money, so it's nonsensical for them to put that restriction on it.

The manager is absolutely wrong. It needs to be over $15 BEFORE coupons, not after.
