No idea if such things are nationwide or not, so YMMV. But I love Tang, and it just so happens that the generic brand that WalMart sells is pretty much identical in taste to the real thing (Can't remember exact name, but it has "Breakfast drink" in the title and its in the juice isle, right next to the real Tang mix). I was really surprised to see it ring up 25 cents, it was not marked as clearance, expiration good, no sale price indicated on shelf, so I'm assuming this is some kind of price mistake. I went back and bought all they had on the shelf.

This was in feasterville, PA

Is this what the Russians take into space?

What size is this? Cause I can get a HUGE tank of regular Tang powder at Costco for around $6... if I remember correctly, at least it was less than $10.

Green for the reference, not the product. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border=0>

Another use for Tang: recently, my do-everything-himself brother decided to largely dismantle his Maytag Neptune washer to do some maintainence. Along the way, he contacted some washer repair guys to find out how to clean out a buildup of fabric softener+detergent from his machine. They suggested pouring Tang into the machine for a few cycles (without clothes, of course).

Found this at my WalMart -- not marked at all. Regularly $1.59 or something like that.

Having said that, I think this stuff is really bad for your teeth too.
