This is just one way to get the tracks into MP3 format:

The list of tracks is here: http://yearzero.nin-thespiral.com/FLJoi4gjw2f/xml/playlist.xml

Copy each track URL like "http://http.vitalstreamcdn.com/sparkart2_vitalstream_com/sparkart/nyz/01Hyperpower.flv"
and enter it at http://www.flv2mp3.com/ after you click the url to FLV file button. Fill out the rest of the info and hit upload. You will instantly get an email with a link to the mp3 file. Right click on the link and "Save target as" to download to your computer. Remember to rename the track.

I just listened to the whole album today - I must be getting old as I didn't enjoy it as much as previous NIN.

Definitely not Pretty Hate Machine material.

The songs are also available all over the internet in MP3 format. Many people think that Trent intentionally left open the XML code to the flash player so people could download the songs.

FYI: The songs are at 256 MHZ

Its in FLV if you rip it, so you will need to download a converter to get it into mp3.

As far as the album goes, its got some real gems in it, but its not as good as previous work. I'm looking forward to the remaster that he will inevitablely release on dvd in 5.1. The sound on the previous rereleases on dvd is just amazing. I think thats where he's making most of his money and why he is "giving away" the album.
