why is this even a queation?
1) Goto a museum
2) Show BOFA card and get 2 free tickets.
3)enjoy
4) repeat 1 to 3 for all museums.

Its not that they will tag you if you visit one of them..

Oh cool, thanks OP, for some reason I thought it was only one museum free admission. Will try to hit all of them then!

Constitution Center I hear is terriffic, and Philly Museum of Art - Do you even have to ask?!!?! It's still awesome even if they DID move the Rocky Balboa statue from the world-famous steps.

Didn't read the whole thread - but most museums in NYC have 'suggested' prices anyway. So you can get in for free, $0.25 or whatever you feel like/can spend anyway.

Thanks for the info, this is great. We are going to Philly the first weekend in May already to see the King Tut exhibit. This will give us something else to do without having to spend more money. Can't wait to go to the Philadelphia Museum of Art, they have an exhibit of japanese paintings starting May 1st. Perfect timing.

Thanks...

Great deal for our families museum visiting habit.

EVERY Thursday is free BTW at Orange County museum.

you don't want to miss this:

May 3 / 7:30 pm / Free
Event held at the Orange Lounge, South Coast Plaza, Costa Mesa

Bruce and Norman Yonemoto’s video, Blinky, on view at the Orange Lounge, is based on Vallance’s classic novella Blinky the Friendly Hen (1978), which documents the artist’s supermarket purchase of a frozen chicken and its burial in the Los Angeles SPCA Pet Memorial Park. Bruce Yonemoto and Vallance will discuss their collaboration and the infamous story of how poultry became a pet.

that's not true for most of the smaller museums in NYC. they have fixed admission prices that run into the double digits. larger museums like the MET are "donation" based.

You're wrong. It's $20 per adult.

A little off-topic: For those of you visiting Philadelphia with access to a car and willing to pay $10 per person for admission...I would recommend seeing the Barnes Foundation which is in a suburb but you have to book in advance. Truly one of the greatest individual collections ever (and still intact!).

"The Barnes Foundation houses one of the finest collections of French Impressionist, Post-Impressionist, and early Modern paintings in the world, including an extraordinary number of masterpieces by Pierre-Auguste Renoir (181), Paul Cézanne (69), and Henri Matisse (59). The collection also includes important works by Pablo Picasso (46), Chaim Soutine (21), Henri Rousseau (18), Amedeo Modigliani (16), Edgar Degas (11), Vincent van Gogh (7), Georges Seurat (6), Edouard Manet (4), and Claude Monet (4)."
