In adddition to the OP's excellent deal...
We've discovered our local library has a form of membership at many NYC museums which allow them to supply free admissions. Some of the admission cards are in short supply (MOMA) while others (AMNH) appear to be limitless. I assume this must be a fairly common situation in the NYC Metro area but don't know for sure. |

Bruce Yonemoto and Vallance will discuss their collaboration and the infamous story of how poultry became a pet.
I'm not sure which is a more worthy and valuable Orange County addition to our nation's culture, that video or The Real Wives of Orange County reality TV show. Sounds like either has a similar potential to make one feel about as intellectual as a pair of the Orange County wive's implants.
However, very timely deal - should save me $40+ at the NY MOMA next month. Thanks OP |

I would like to go with my hubby and 14 month old daughter. Will this count as needing only two tickets (I have an MBNA card) as most museums count kids under three free usually? thanks! |

Does your local library mean NYPL? If so, how do you get it from the libray? Thanks |

Doesn't Huntington Gardens have the corpse flower? Is it rotten meat smelly yet?
Do they still have those horrible Pinky and Blueboy reproductions up on the walls?? |

Call your local library and ask them to see if they have any museum passes. And how you can get them. Sometimes they become available on a specific day of the week on a first come first serve basis. Other places have waiting lists. This in not specific to New York. When I lived 1.5 miles away from Boston, the nearby museum had passes to museums in Boston as well as nearby museums. I've lived in a couple of other cities and they've also had these benefits at the libraries. You need to have a library card to be able to qualify for borrowing a museum pass. |
