sorry repost in FREE STUFF !

Not sure why it was posted in free stuff. 2 museum tickets are certainly worth more than $10.

might as well post the details here... or a link to the other post

I agree this is hot as I will be saving over $200 ...I have posted link in OP.

Awesome. Thanks. I would never had known about this if not for FW and the OP.

Thanks. Will come in really handy. Not much details though on the website. How does it work? Just show up and flash your BofA card? Only 2 free passes per card? I would have to go in with one son, and my wife with my other son?

BOA Credit cards and debit cards both work for this. And each card gets you 2 tickets. If your wife has a add-on card. You can get 2 and she can get 2. Moreover if you have debit card for both of you then you can get 2 more tickets each.

Couldn't come at a better time! Thanks.

I'm visiting California for two weeks in May. Huntington and some of the San Francisco museums look good.

I wonder, if I were to order a card for my sister, for example, under my account, would it qualify for 2 more tickets, or would they reject it given its the same account number?

The closest museum to me is 350 miles. How much does these tickets sales?

No DC? WTF?

You do realize that almost every museum in DC is free admission, right?

Not quite, only the Federal ones are. There are tons of galleries and smaller museums where admission is not free.

True. But one can easily spend a week just going to the free ones.

Good finding OP, too bad my state is not in the list.

Do you think this will work with my aaa card which is owned by bank of america?

wow awesome deal

Lots of museums for NY.

But admission is only for cardholder plus one. I got 5 kids to take to the Bronx Zoo. Then again, we have the zoo right at home

Thanks OP. List includes all the museums I could name in NYC. Also includes the Bronx Zoo and the aquarium in Coney Island.

No mention of restrictions anywhere on the site as to when you can go, so you may have just helped plan a couple Saturdays in May for us.

this is great! some really good museums are available. in san francisco, they include the sfmoma and the de young, which are both very good. in massachusetts, there is the norman rockwell museum and the museum of fine arts, among others. both really worth checking out.

Thank you.

no Museum of Natural History in NY in the list bummer. Oh well will have to settle for Bronx zoo.

Has anybody gone to Museum of MOving images?? Is it cool?

Thanks OP, this is great news.

I think it is worth a visit, I don't know what they have now, but they have had some nice exhibitions in the past. Also tickets normally include a movie, so if they are showing something you would be interested in, even better.

Also if you have never been to Astoria, go get some greek food followed by Omonia for desert and you shall have a fine day.

Where are the details? Are you suppose to go the museum and show them your BOA card?

Offer valid from 5/1/06 to 5/31/06. Photo ID and Bank of America credit card, ATM card, Check Card or MBNA credit card must be presented. Excludes fundraising events and ticketed shows. Free admission limited to cardholder and one guest per participating institution. Not to be combined with other offers.

Super deal, thanks OP!!

Oh, yeah, Uncle George is the most popular one and I think it is not far from the museum, although Stamatis on 23rd ave is even better.
I love that baby lamb!

You do realize that the Metropolitan does not really have an admission right?
The prices you see are RECOMMENDED admission prices. You can walk up to the counter and ask for 1 admission for $5 etc, depending on your financial status.
If you are a poor student give little and don't feel bad about it. If you are filthy rich give above the recommended admission.

Edit: In case it is not clear, RECOMMENDED means the admission price that is calculated to be enough to sustain the museum. Don't give less if you can affort it.

Thanks. Green for you!
My GF wanted to go to the Huntington library next week. But being a Fatwalleter i want a deal. This is perfect!

Wow that is one PRETTY website! Seriously, why isn't the main B of A website as nice??

It is perfectly fine to pay $1 per person if that is what your financial situation can best afford. I know someone who is retired and gives 25 cents... and the cashiers don't blink an eye.

Thanks OP. Been meaning to take the kids back to Bronx Zoo and the NY Aquarium.

The Minneapolis Institute of Arts has no admission price, but after visiting there, I gladly donated $5 for each person, each visit. A very nice, large, clean museum with European, American, and Asian art and artifacts. The modern art is rarely offensive, more whimsical. There is lots to see and learn!

And before you call me a tite-wad, consider I don't live anywhere near Minnesota, and this is fatwallet.com.

Thanx OP . But is there any limit?
