I called around a few in my area and all have it for $181. According to this site, the deal is very real, but we may have to wait for this pricing. Awesome find though, and green for you!
Don't have time to look, but I think you can print out a one day guest pass from the Sams Club site. I would focus on calling first to see if they actually sell it for that price. It's very YMMV at the moment.

It sounds like this deal is not widespread at all. I won't be bothering to check my sam's.
Mine was marked at 181, bought it two weeks ago for $130 when it was there. They didn't realize the price until they rang it up.

search around the net and you will probably come across a one time one day pass. or you can call you local sams and ask if they have any at the info desk. i went to a sams last time and they gave me a one time pass for free. just tell them yoy are interested in the club and you wanted to try it out.
OOS in cookeville... next time note that you bought all they had

Ok Here is the deal, I posted this on Gizmodo as well. This is on clearance/cancelled in their system BUT in order for the computer to print the $72.54 price tag there needs to be only 1 or 2 left in the store. I took the price tag up to cashier manager (they are always at that stand in the middle behind the registers) she looked it up and it still showed $181 and she told me it was because they had 4 still in stock. I don't know if I bought 2, to get the price to drop then return them, then buy them again if that would work. I don't want to risk it, anyone know sames price adjustment policy?

Just FYI, all one-day passes I have ever seen add a 10% surcharge to your purchase.....you might be better off to buy a membership at $40 per year (I am pretty sure that is what it is at my Sams)

They've said several times they won't.
They've also insisted they would not release HDMI

Perhaps, and call me crazy, not all sams club employees are whacked out technojunkies or people looking to turn a $10 profit on eBay. Having worked at a game store that often ran 1 good promo to get people into the store and bent the customers over backwords for everything else... I can tell you that I never found an item and hijacked it before a customer could get to it. I think all retail employees know how to get any item they want out of the store at crazy cheap prices.
Care to share how (that is legal, and wont get you fired) besides what was just outlined and being TC'd by you? Think not.

MS has also stated that the HD-DVD's are decoded via software not hardware so it really wouldn't make the most sense for MS to have games on HD-DVDs when the 360 would be spending a lot of it's power on decoding (reading) the HD-DVD. Just a thought to backup their statement of HD-DVDs not being games. That and there's a small share of the 360 market having the add-on in the first place.

I know I keep posting over and over to the same thread, but Blockbuster online looks like it has every single HD DVD title. I'm just hyped.
