This drive is currently $59 - $5 IS - $20 ER. I used the OM $20/50 printable and the cashier (Asst. Mgr) couldn't figure out how to enter competitor coup, so she did it as a PM, with $20 as the price (not as dollars off)... so I got it for $21.26 OTD, less $20 ER. Wheee. Rebate form says limit 10 per address. I may try to go back and pick up more using yesterday's receipt as basis.

Can I use this drive with the 79-cent enclosure in this thread to make it an extrnal drive? I'm a noob to enclosures.

That's for a 2.5" drive. This is a 3.5" drive.

OK, so if I find a 3.5" enclosure, then can I use it with a laptop? Or do I need a 2.5" for my laptop?

If it's an external drive, the size does not matter just the connection type. Now 2.5" drives can be powered by USB, 3.5" drives need a seperate power supply.
