Price dropped to $39.99
If you had bought it for $49.99(with $20/$25 MIR) I think we can do a price match and get $10 back. Going to try 'morrow. |

The price has been down to $24.99 AR and floating around $29.99. I think many people would still consider $39.99 too high after the low prices they've been going for lately. |

Sorry if I did not make myself clear. It was meant for people who bought it for $49.99(with different MIR's) and they could do a price adjustment now to get even better deal. Thanks for posting the link to other thread where people were aware of it already and getting price adjustments. |

Good thinking. Now that I went back and read your post, I know what you meant to say - I read it wrong. Good luck! BTW, I PM'd directly to BB without having to deal with rebates. |

I also flashed it to Tomato and it has been running great. Much better signal than my previous wireless router across the entire house. |

The buffalo rebate was rejected for being outside the qualifying period. I don't remember when I bought it but I am not sure if that is correct |

After two months can't even find my rebate status. Another a-hole company. Us folks who purchased this in April are going through this right now. I agree. Stay clear of Buffalo rebates till they resolve their mess. Apparently, they did not receive rebates from ALL the folks who submitted it. How convenient. |

It seems that Young America, the rebate fulfillment co. for the $10 Buffalo rebate, is rejecting rebates. This is a common tactic. For every rebate that goes unfulfilled, it's money in their pocket. I had to call the 1-888 number 3 times before I got a customer service rep. that gave me the address to send the resubmit to. Keep calling - persistence pays.
Call #1: "Sorry we never received your rebate, please hold while I research this issue." On hold for several minutes before call mysteriously disconnected.
Call #2: "I cannot find your rebate submission in our system. We are not responsible for problems the US postal service. You cannot resubmit for this offer because it expired on April 21, 2007. I'm sorry sir.
Call #3: "You were misinformed by the rep that said you cannot resubmit for this rebate. Here is the mailing address ... Your resubmission status should be in our system within 4-6 weeks."

Q. Who do I call for help submitting my rebate? What if I have questions? A. If you have any questions regarding this rebate, please call our toll-free customer service hotline at 888-701-7641, 7am to 7pm MT on weekdays. |

Where did you hear about this $29.99 price? It is still $39.99 after the $10 CC rebate. |

The info I was given over the phone is:
Buffalo Customer Service Attn: Resubmits Department P.O. Box 7014 Young America, MN 55558-7014
You may want to call the 1-888 number between 7AM-7PM Mountain Time to confirm this. I was not informed of any Fax number. |

From a similar deal in the expired deals section: link
dvpatel said:I did better. I could get them to give me a FAX Number.
The Fax number they gave me for the Buffalo Technologies Resubmission Dept. is (800) 532 1087
Since I keep my copies at work, they will get a FAX from me first thing Monday morning.

Guys. We the folks who purchased this router the week that ended 4/21 are having to fight for the $10 Buffalo rebate. I have posted my saga there. We collectively need to bring this company down. Though they make a very good router, they are not good in Customer Service. I have called BT directly today morning and have not heard back. Their Rebate center is giving me the run around that the rebate is now closed. Well its been 6 - 7 weeks since I sent the rebate so ofcourse the rebate is closed but how come they did not receive a single soul's rebate paper work. BS I say. I am going to call BT customer service number tomorrow as a final try before filing the complaints with BBB and their local state AG's office.
*** Edit *** Created a rebate tracking thread for the old offer BT-0734 that ended 4/21 |
