i dont recommend a normal box spring for this, you would need a totally flat surface as to keep the memory foam equal throughout the bed.
I lay on my side and back and this mattress is perfect and yes i know about the 2 soft problem some beds i tried had that low firmness. |

We just got the Comfortluxe from Costco about 3 weeks ago. AFTER we got it I saw on another forum someone who complained of body impressions. I HATE body impressions. Has anyone had this happen to them with this mattress. I did call Sleep Inovations(the manufacturer) and asked them and they said if it gets them they will come pick it up and exchange or refund. I said, you mean if in 5year we get body impressions you will still do this and they said yes. Costco's 90day return policy is only on things like cameras, computers, tv's not other merchandise. I had also asked about the mattress warranty. AND if you buy on line and they deliver, and you have a problem or do not like it, they will make arrangements to pick it up. No need to try and haul this thing to a store. SO back to my original question, has anyone had a problem with body impressions?null |

so i have had this queen size for about a wk now. i can tell you i have slept lik a baby since then, i dont recall getting up lately with any back pain as i used too. the only thing i need now is a new pillow. my neck feels a bit tight sometimes.
o the only problem i have is since it came folded in a box it never got its original shape back yet. the top and bottom are low and the middle ends still has a hump in it. |

I was out today trying different mem foam beds and I found the level of firmness quite varied. Could those who own or have tried either the "fresh dreams," or "Comfortluxe" tell me on a scale of 1-10 how firm or soft they are.
thanks Mark |

Received my Fresh Dreams mattress on Tuesday. The top left corner/side of the mattress failed to fully expand. Apparently these mattresses have been known to have this problem quite a bit. It's still very comfortable though. I've emailed Costco to have them pick this up, and exchange for another one. |

How much is the diff. (fully expand)? I have 1 corner that is about 1/2 inch lower than other places...not sure if this is normal or I should do the exchange. |

This may sound funny but I was wondering if anyone had used the foam mattress as a futon mattress? Would it work as such? We needed to get a new futon mattress and thought that this might be another option? Comments? Thanks. |

I purchased the Novaform Fresh Dreams Queen size last week and 1/2 of mine is lower then the other side also. I emailed sleep innovations and they told me to exchange it (ya because its so easy to return one of these). I've emailed Costco and awaiting an answer. |

I got the FreshDreams King, and have had it on for about 5 days. It's great, but right around the middle where the mattress was bent, the foam is very soft and loose, so it sinks more. I need to figure out how to deal with this.. This is quite a pain to deal with.
The mattress is great otherwise, wish it didn't have these problems..
EDIT: A couple of weeks later, it looks like the mattress is all fine now, and the soft spots in teh middle seem to have expanded/firmed out. So the mattress seems good now. |

Just got my replacement mattress from UPS today, will see how that expands, I didn't even know Costco shipped a new one, though I got a call from sleep innovations today and for returning it they said take it to costco, donate it to good will or wait 4 weeks till they can get a truck out to me. |

BTW, you can put these foam mattresses on regular beds (platform beds are very rare in most furniture shops, and have very limited selection and styles).
Instead of a box-spring you can have a "box" ordered which is made of wood plank without springs. these can even be made in 2" , 4" or 8" heights. Most furniture guys don't know about it, but they can be ordered. these are actually cheaper than normal box springs. For a king, it should run about $150.
BTW, in the Fremont/San Jose area if you'd like a referal for a very good and cheap furniture dealer PM me. I usually don't feel obligated to do this, but I bought a full bedroom set this time, and after a thorough search was so impressed with the cost/service of the dealer i finally went with that I'd like to spread the word for him and help FWers around here. |

Just picked up two of these. $499 Queen First one...defective - did not expand all the way; will go back. Second one (one week later from same pallet)...perfect - expanded all 98% of the way within 3-4 hours. 1. Trashed the broken boxspring. 2. Put 3/4" OSB on 3 wood planks (previously supporting boxspring). 3. Put mattress on top of OSB. 4. Add MF mattress. 5. Let it expand. 6. Sleep. 7. Wake up refreshed. |

Could someone post, say on a scale of 1-10, how firm this is? Is it hard, does it retain one's shape, is it soft and plush... please describe what it's like with the Cool Wave™ Memory Foam BTW, these are on sale now until the 28th for $150 off at Costco. |
